My wife made me... she was cool before I knew Airstreams were cool.
no... that 31 ft. of alum. makes me a bit anxious.
no, really... increase your chances of doing things correctly, and become part of all these wonderful folks who are so willing to share their experience.

Airsteams Anonymous
A.A. literature describes the difference between an "airstreamaholic" and a "casual user", claiming that unlike a "casual user" who may partake occasionally but retains the ability to stop or moderate him - or herself. Aluminitus is an incurable disease rendering them unable to moderate their consumption of aluminum and all things Airstream. A.A. states that only the individual him - or herself can determine whether he or she is afflicted with aluminitus.
I...I can...can quit anytime...honest

Why are you at this forum?
You mean there are people who aren't?
OK - well then, I guess I'm here waiting....
I'm here because Airstreams are highly cool and so are the folks who use 'em.

I do not fit any of the poll questions. Sorry.
I found this forum when I was reserching the part out value of (what turned out to be my first Airstream) a trailer for a neighbor. After reading a bit here and there on the board. I purchased it. I kept reading and learning all I could and can. It is fun to read about what everone is doing and sharing there experance. I have moved on to my second AS and am having a blast making it work.

I just have one question?
That's how this all started for me! Today's question is:
In the Wizard of Oz did they use nuvite on the Tinman in the Emerald City and was he really made from tin or parts from a recycled Airstream? Ed

Really...
I like to meet new folks that share a common desire to help each other with any knowledge they have acquired along the way about working on these trailers. Ed

I belong to several forums. Did you know there is a forum for preachers who need sermon ideas on a Saturday night? That of course is not me I am never at a loss for words. This forum is exceeds all others in which I participate. It has a high level of participation from a variety of people who are knowledgeable, well versed, humorous, and friendly. I add into that mix my love of Airstreams and Chummy and that makes this forum a winner.

I love the forums because of the people, the exchange of knowledge, the rally reports and especially the pictures that the members post.
I also like the forums because it keeps me more up to date with the happenings within WBCCI and the issues affecting the club.

Ditto to all of the above!
Guess I caught it - Aluminitis that is. Can't seem to keep away. You meet the best people in Airstreams.
