Park and Save

The "LANDSHARK" is in front of our two car garage on the apron about 12' from the family room door! Ah!...The Joy of being able to see it resting there just waiting to be fully restored and traveling the roads again.....soon! Ed

GREAT to have that AS close!

As many others have said....

It is GREAT to have my AS right out front!

Right where I can see it ALL the time and where I can give it that affectionate pat, and murmer sweet....

Whoops? Did I say that out loud!? Tell me I didn't say that out loud..!?

Er, uh. Yeah, whatever.

LOVE MY SILVERTOY!!!!!

Glad to see that affection so widespread. Wonder if other RV's have it this good? Nah.

Peace

We live in the middle of 60 acres, so like Aaron we can put him anywhere. We got our shed built about two months ago, so now he is behind the shop in his own home. We hope to have the elcetricity run out there shortly. Just have to find the time.

Sitting at South Jersey RV, getting warranty work done on it. I wonder when I'll get it back, since I have yet to get a phone call, after almost two weeks.

For the first time we have left the Argosy on our lake property. We got electricity this week, so went down to try it out. All worked beautifully. Since this is a gated community, I know "the Twink" will be safe; however, it seems strange not having him sitting beside the house. This is much cheaper than towing him down each week. Lonely here without him.

Airstream One lives on the road, with me! We're in Aberdeen NC tonight at a Wal-Mart.
When we make it home AS1 lives in the driveway. It has a dedicated 30 amp electric box and a newly extended driveway.
Our Home Owners Association has a set of covenants for all homeowners that excludes boats and motorhomes from driveways. However I'm the Chairperson of the Architectural Review Board so I'm the one to enforce the rules. I've got a great bunch of neighbors on my culdesac and they all like AS1 much better than the original Champion Bookmobile I worked from before.
So, we bend the rules and say it's not really a motorhome, it's a rolling showroom.... now go away, don't bug me kid!!

Cool In and out...

Moby has been in and out of the barn several times now this spring. We really wanted to work on him in daylight, but the weather has not allowed us to keep him out more than one night.

At the time I am typing this, our weather monitor just gone off again. We are under a severe thunderstorm watch and there is quarter sized hail a couple counties south of us.

We are very fortunate to have the barn...

After having mine 2 thousand miles away since I bought it 6 months ago. It is now about 5 minutes away. Zoning keeps me from having it in my yard for longer than 24 hours. But I'm Happy.........

We can park it in our driveway here, legally, indefinitely, and do sometimes in between trips.

We can park it on the street here as long as it's attached to a tow vehicle.

However, her permanent home is a cement-sided barn (safe and warm) in northern Wisconsin at a family property, where we also have 30amp hookup, water and a private dump station.

Such luxury. It's nice to be a spoiled adult child.

Adopting?

T&F-

Are you adopting, since you have AS space? Grew up on the west side - OP/RF/FP. Have family ALL OVER HP/Glencoe/Barrington.... Would love to get back there but downtown - NO WAY. Even though the folks love their view over GP/ Buckingham Fountain there is just NO substitute for green and space and AS's..... Mostly the AS part...

Even my 80 y.o dad is getting into the AS mystique.... Never willingly (army) camped a day in his life .... but the AS tickles his fancy - BAD!!

Ciao

She is sitting in the back yard at the end of my driveway. I can go out my back door and be there in about 15 seconds.

Mine is in front of the house again. Spent the weekend near Williams AZ, but she got very dirty and needs a few things adjusted after 10 miles of dirt road. The "Silver Pill" will be returning to the RV storage yard in a few days. She needs to rest up for our big Memorial Day weekend .
