When Airstreams Ruled the Earth
I took this picture while documenting trees that were damaged in a recent storm. When I downloaded it, I couldn't help but notice that it looked rather....prehistoric. My imagination ran wild, imagining a time when Airstreams roamed free across the land.

LOL "You bet Jurassic!"
Yes, they were herbivores who usually roamed alone or in small groups. Once or twice each year, they would instinctively return to a central location, where they would gather in a large group, ceremoniously honor the elders of the group and welcome the newest Airstreams, before dispersing back to their solitary haunts. With very few natural predators, the Aristream population flourished for some time before dwindling to smaller numbers. With recent interest in their preservation and protection, their numbers are once again growing, and the current population is quite healthy, despite occasional competition from other species.

It's almost true if you tink a little smaller-say a teardrop. Up until recent times in Patagonia (about 150 years ago) there lived giant armadillo like mammals whose size was roughly that of a VW beetle which they somewhat resembled. Natives used the shells as domiciles. It's too bad Those AS's are insects in the laval stage, we could use their abandoned shells after pupation!

Kudzu is not good when smoked...or any other time, either!

Believe it or not, most of it is wild grape and the ensuing vine. We have some vines that are as big as a tree trunk.
