what year are the changes?

While I know just about everything about older units my knowledge of the 80's is very limited.
I currently have an 83 Soveriegn 31' that was made in 5/83 and the vin shows it to be an 83 but when I look up info 31' soveriegns started in 84

I want to know what grouping of years this body style falls into and when did they change.

I believe that body and chassis remained largely unchanged from 1979 to the introduction of the wide bodies in '95/'96. When looking down the length of the body they appear more rounded than the earlier 70's coach. There is a distict "bulge" in the waistline.

Now somebody with exact knowledge will correct me.
