America Can Work Theme

A quality travel trailer with a style from the past but works for today and tomorrow. Designed and built through collaborations with leading American companies such as:
-Tesla and Magnum for a flexible electrical system
-Kohler for the plumbing
-Google for the IT
-Alcoa to cut and punch the panels and then coat to prevent filiform
-Goodyear to design a ST tire that meets trailer needs and 75mph rating
-MIT design contest with focus on reliability and function plus travel at 75 mph without shaking apart

One issue might be that it would no look shinny because of so many corporate logos.

I'm surprised there hasn't been an REI collaboration; 22' sport, twin cots with mummy bags, Coleman camp stove, foldable kitchen and lawn chair dinette. Sort of the aluminum tent treatment. I guess the base camp was close, but with a full bath.

The pullman idea is great. It got my creative juices flowing for sure. I am not sure that a ceiling or wall berth would work but the idea of multi-purpose use is key.

One theme I like- TARDIS from Doctor Who. Designed to Travel anywhere adapting to its surroundings, etc.

I would like to see an off-road version.

And also aviation theme would be pretty great.

Theme Ideas

I like the idea of Hollywood...but name them after famous stars like: The Bogart, or The James Dean Dream, The Marilyn

Going with the dog theme, I always thought the auto industry should capitalize on dogs and dog owners. The Airstream themes could be The Retriever Edition, The Sporting Dog Edition, etc. with built in dog kennels and dog themed/ dog sturdy interiors. We have a bench seat that was made with two small kennels inside where our dogs sleep at night.

I do like the Pendleton, too.

And from my husband: High tech all the way with touch screen instrument displays, flexible flat panel displaying scenery behind the structure as if you're seeing through the aluminum skin via lots of external cameras, Faraday cage structure when you need the tech to be protected and/or disappear, and modern external stealth 'invisability' cloaking.

I really like the aviation motif idea. 1950's graphics of planes, maps, routes...etc. The bedroom could be like a transcontinental sleeper! The motif would remind you of the days when traveling was an adventure!

You can't go wrong sticking to Americana. If they did a "Great Lodges of the National Parks" theme with wood and copper, it would be a hit. A NW theme would also hold a certain appeal to me personally, incorporate a little Haida artwork in to the cabinetry perhaps?

Personally, I'd love to see a retro-furnished model...either in a roaring 1920's theme or, even better, a 1950's south Florida theme with the light green and pink tiles. Of course, most of us already have the flamingos (don't we? You don't?? I hang my head in shame). Signed: Flamingo Jon

I love this idea, avionstream.

one more thought..I always wonder why none of us seems brave enough to paint the outside of our ASs...not some solid color, but a field of flowers? Manly types fighting tarpon or marlin (much better than the 2lb seabass we typically catch)? Kayaks going over waterfalls, with the obligatory snow-capped mountain ranges in the background? Genteel canoeing with loons and waterlilies? I've been tempted a number of times, someday.... Safe travels. jon

Talking

Ok I've held off on this post, but I can't in good conscience wait anymore. Attached is a photo of the new prototype airstream with preferred tow vehicle. Sort of Flash Gordon meets the Monitor. Might be some camouflage involved too to hide the true shape. Don't see any WD though...

But only if the work is done by a Haida artist and not just appropriated by some designer and applied to the finished product.
