We wish to point out however, that we DO NOT have the KT lock as an exclusive item. Airstream does. Therefore, any dealer can purchase it from them.
The price is dictated by Airstream, and not any dealer.
Their listed price is $546.06. We sell them for $495.00.
Why the price has increased from $22.50 in 1976 to $546.06, can only be answered by Airstream. They are in control of it's availability and price, not us, as you indicated.

I was under the impression that you bought all of the surplus inventory that A/S had for earlier/older models trailers. And that you were the only available source for the KT locks. Thanks for clearing that up!!!
