Yes. :-) We rented ours - it was a great relationship building exercise. We don't know if we're into it enough to buy one. I bet there are lots of low mileage used ones for sale though.

We have a tandem too, hasn't gotten much use but we hope to use it a bit more this year. Got a steal on it from my LBS. It is a 2006 Raleigh Companion. We are going to be adding a Burley Tail Wagon to it for the mutt.

We ride a Lippy Fantasy tandem that we had Keith Lippy build for us back in 1988. As we got older and fatter, the number of spokes in the rear wheel has increased, as have the number of teeth in the geriatric gear.
