What Do They Take Us For?

Why is it that folks putting together publications have to flop photos? Its quite obvious that the door is on the wrong side. Don't they think anyone will notice? The new 2006 Airstream calendar has several flopped photos and the one with Old Faithful even has the type on the sign fixed so it reads right.

Inquiring minds want to know.

I would say it's a Bahamian model, but I see Old Glory flying in the background.

You have pasted the test . Now move to the front of the CLASS!
Some times publishers will do this just to to get some hype and see if it gets talked about. I saw the same thing and wondered if anyone else would say something You would hope they did this on purpose and not just an accidental photo flop. Still good pictures even if they are flipped.

Don't take my comments the wrong way. Its still a great calandar and certainly worth displaying and viewing each month even if a few of the photos are flopped.

Mirror months ...

Brad:

April, May (same as the cover) and August are mirror months, where you have to view the calendar via its reflection in a mirror. That thoughtful feature keeps your neck from getting cranned in only one direction.

Thanks for the tip Fred. Here I was looking around for my glasses that flop the image. Glad I don't need them because they are uncomfortable and not very fashionable..

Dang, and I just hung it on my wall and started marking rally dates on it. Didn't even look that close!

I had a bit of fun with some folks on Friday night who gave it to me. I suggested that it was very likely for left handed people, and everyone gave a nod like, yeah, okay, now we understand. A bit later one of them did the old AHA - the pictures are flipped. Oh well, I had fun for a little while at least.

Better yet, why can't they come up with some new pictures. I get tired of seeing the same pictures over and over again.
