Just a guess: maybe a 18 foot 1960, Caravel? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

The Caravel was introduced in 1965 as a 17'. It became an 18' in 1968.

A photo of the trailer, it's length, and a couple of photos of the entire trailer would be more helpful in identifying it than the serial plate.

My records show a 18 foot Caravel was made in 1961. It then was made as a 17 footer in 1965 to 1968 In 1969 an 18 foot Caravel Special Land Yacht was made. Airstream was to too consistent with model names, lengths and trim levels.

According to Airstream production records you have a 1960 18' Globester made in California in March 1960.

Airstream also made 18' Travelers and 18' Comets in California in 1960. These models were intermixed during production and shared the same serial number sequence. In total California offered three different 18' models/floorplans in 1960.

Offhand, I am not sure what Ohio called their 18-footers in 1960, but that is not important as you have a California built 18-footer.

I have not heard of any of those models. Somewhat rare?
