Very sorry, however we are now “out” of pic space to post examples. (And darn hard to easily donate to to so). Pole fabrication was easier than donating !

If you send a PM, will try and email you directly. 📭

Did you opt for the Shurflo or the SeaFlo?

B

I used the Shurflo accumulator tank part #182-200 $42.00 purchased from Camperworld.com and the Surflo RV “water pump silencing kit” part #94-591-01 $22.00 (actually found at our local RV supply store), but both are available from Camperworld.com.
You will need to charge the tank with a little air pressure at time of install. I used about 30 PSI from a good quality hand bicycle pump. You can play with the pressure but 30 PSI worked for me. (Tank has a bladder in it).Simple instructions come with the accumulator tank.
Airstream really should install this setup as standard IMO.[emoji848]

In range/speed testing at fringe areas, got a 3x up/down speed improvement and 2-3 bars boost. Sweet !!
PLease keep us posted with an update after you have a chance to check it out. We are looking at doing much the same.

My Victron Smartsolar MPPT 30/100 arrived yesterday. The first building block in my portable solar charging system. Now, for the panels...

What Did You Get For Your Trailer Today?

Have been reading the threads on hitch security and TT thefts and decided to beef up my AS security. I was using a straight screw pin type.
This is what I bought from Provenlocks.com today.

Btw- They stand by the military and offer a 10% discount if you provide verification of Mil ID. [emoji106]

I have been following this w/the idea of doing the same to our 2017 Classic as the water pump system as installed is not what one would expected and or should accept from "The King of The Road".

Ordered from Amazon to be here 09.28.18.
1 each SeaFlo Pre-Pressurized Accumulator Tank $28.99.
1 each ShurFlo 09-591-01 Pump Silencing Kit $26.12.
1 each/pack of 4 Diversitech MP4-E E.V.A. Anti-Vibration Pad $11.48.

The pump cradle holding the pump is of hard rubber W/the hope or idea of reducing sound, does not. Currently the pump is hard mounted to wood sub-straight floor. My experience and thought is to use additional isolation pads between the pump and wood sub-straight floor along w/the silencing kit and Accumulator Tank. Db readings will be taken before and after install.

Safe Travels and best regards

We have used this lock for a couple of years now. Still have our 27 FB FC so I guess it works! Easy to install, looks pretty beefy. Make sure your lock tumbler is inserted all the way and turned before you remove the key. One time I though I locked it because I was able to remove the key and it was not locked[emoji102]

After seeing the wiring on those three marine switches, I'm lusting. So beautiful, and not easy to accomplish.

Thanks for the feedback. It was a pricey piece but the discount helped offset my groan. Those that know little about this company ought to check out their videos and how it compares to other locks. At this point I’ll be happy if it diverts bad intentions. If I’m honest tho - I’d love to rig up some sort of shock system, so that if anyone touches the trailer they get thrown back a few feet. Maybe even fry their hair-ends for good measure.

I have one also.
It works great and is one heavy piece of security. My only nit-pic is getting the key in while locked. The slot faces down. But as someone suggested, mark the front side of the key with black paint. I was going to use a mirror.

If anyone is considering buying one, be sure you get the Airstream specific one. The Airstream coupler is unique and the others don't fit.

Thank you! I wish I could take credit, but I have a friend who has an industrial engineering company and all the credit goes to him.

We used the same one.

The DW got one of these for the home fridge, I was a bit skeptical but it seems to work well and has a fan to circulate the air, a temp display and alarm. Also similar from Amazon.

I have been down this road a few years ago and you are definitely heading in the right direction.
A few comments:
- you may want to adjust the accumulator pressure a bit depending on how much pressure the pump puts out. Check the accumulator pressure during your de-winterization work.
- anti-vibration pad - this will help a lot. I used a piece of stiff closed cell foam from a packing box and it went a long way to helping with vibration
- pipes - make sure each pipe is tightly fastened to a wall or use pipe insulation to isolate the pipe from hard surfaces
- make sure all air is out of the lines

After these changes I really have to listen hard to know the pump is actually being used in my trailer.

Gateway Sight and Sound in Jonesboro, Arkansas. They have an industrial engineering division, and that is who did my solar/lithium/easy start package. My impression was the easy start was a fairly simple process.
