160W Zamp Solar "Suitcase"
Fastway Flip Jack Foot

The latter is in order to facilitate faster hitching/unhitching with my Equalizer hitch. It saves me 6" of travel both ways on an electric tongue jack.

Been there, done that (jack foot), sent it back. Too unstable for me. GL

I'll be curious to see how I feel. On asphalt, it's very stable under load. On more unsure surfaces I may have a different opinion. I also have a 22' Sport which has a relatively low tongue weight.

New TV

Got our trailer a new tow vehicle. A silver 2017 Silverado LTZ Duramax Z71 4x4. Wife wanted a High Country, but I didn't want the painted bumpers or the 20" wheels. Coolest thing is the rear view camera setup. 4 cameras-one on the bottom of each outside mirror, one on the back of the cab and one on the back of the trailer. Several options for viewing them. I hope I can remember what I am looking at!
Receiver is almost 3" higher than the older truck, so I'll need to make some changes to the Equal-I-zer.

Thank you for your concern. Rest of the story. That offer is with $9 additional shipping and is taking 6 weeks plus to receive according to reviews. Works out to $14.47 per.
BBB has a 20% off coupon, no extra shipping charge when bought from a local store and instant gratification. With tax $17.11. So no reason to be sorry. I am a happy customer.

Good on level ground. I have a heavier tw (800ish) and was concerned about a collapse if all things weren't right. I sure do like the idea, that's why I bought both types, but I didn't like what I saw once installed.

I looked at the ones on Amazon. Similar but very different LEDs according to the ads and YouTube reviews and comparisons. USB charge would certainly be a plus. I am using recharable Lithium batteries that I already have a supply of. Hopefully the life will be increased over standard AAs. YouTube review videos suggest about a 2.5 hour life out of standard batteries.
I bought this to add to my DC only lights for boondocking and dry camping.

new stuff necessesity

Nubie to be a MEMBER but watching for years. I have since purchased a 1998 31' Classic. Little known history of repairs so I have replaced the furnace relay, hot water tank circut board, ALL new brakes and hubs, All new "C" jacks, and converting slowly to LED inside lighting. Aquired the day after Christmas 2016 and have had my hands full repairing myself in hopes to make my first rally for our region. I have learned a lot about Airstream in just one month. I waited four years of searching for "OLE BLUE" but she's a keeper!

FWIW.
We ordered three LED camping lanterns from Amazon, Lemontec, for $13.99.
So far so good. All three worked. Very bright. Case looks exactly like the one from Bed Bath and beyond.
For the price, it was definitely worth it. Not water proof, probably not water resistant, unless it does not rain. No magnetic base either.

Dicor Vent sealing

Dicor Sealant patching. 12 years of Rooftop UV exposure in So Cal. Small, seeping water leaks above roof and through inner rivets ending up on forward floor.

Test: Guessed and sealed suspected area with taped plastic. Luckily over a 2 week rain storm= no water on floor. YES! Finally nailed it. Now to seal.

Sealed with the Dicor self leveling stuff around Fantastic Fan roof top area. No more leaks.

If y'all haven't seen the Black Diamond lantern lineup, I'd recommended it. (Often found on sale at steepandcheap.com). They range from tiny (4oz) up to big honking monsters. The whole line has excellent design, well made, and they are easy on batteries.

well, I just spent a BUNCH of money with nothing notably new but upgrades/replacments on the Wifi Ranger Elite AC, the Tire Traker 500 and other various devices. I guess all of us get around to that from time to time. Ya know, had a TV got a TV kinda thing.
