I finally ordered decent antennas for my Wilson cell booster. Tired of struggling with Stubby and the Hershey Bar.

I went to the scales when it was brand new, topped off the gas tank, and weighed the empty truck to get the real payload which is about 1725 lbs. If I am running near capacity I might not fill the tank with a full 36gal to add payload.

My dealer made a mistake when he ordered my truck and ordered initially with the chrome package instead of the sport package. Since then he reordered the right one and I should receive it before the end of the month. He received the first one he ordered and I asked him to send me a picture of the payload, it shows 1725 Lb. It is consistent with your numbers

Why don't you take the truck with chrome?

When you spend that much money to have something built exactly how you want it you do not want to make any concession, and since I will only take possession of my AS in May I am in no rush.

I like chrome.
I guess everybody doesn't necessarily. I agree on getting what you want.
The Toyota dealer here sent a man to El Dorado, AR to get my car because I wanted silver with black interior.
I was committed to a 5 year note, so I might as well have exactly what I want.
Typically keep vehicles a really long time.
If you're gonna drive it 17 years you might as well get what you want.

Just ordered this safe for "the mini bar". I plan on installing it on the shelf in the closet. However, I may mount it under the seat in our new TV. Does anyone think there would be an issue mounting it in the closet? I think there is a label on the shelf saying "don't place items here" or something along those lines.

Hi, it says it is made out of heavy steel, but it doesn't say how much it weighs. This safe might be too heavy for a shelf.

A gray tank added onto our 1967 Overlander! Yeah for fewer dumps!

Also, an undermount spare tire holder. Yeah for a back-up plan that doesn't require lifting a heavy and stinky tire in and out of our trailer!

New Mirrors

Ordered a set of after market camper mirror for the 2006 Chevy 2500 HD. Took less than 1 hour to install both. Sure make a huge difference. Plug & play all the way.
