RobertSunrus, out of curiosity, for what application are you using the electrical conduit?

Hi, this is an experiment that I have been thinking about for quite a while now. And I will have more details as I go. I'm making a generator inlet on the front of my trailer so I can connect it to my generator while it's in my trucks bed. Mounting the generator in the truck bed is another part of this, not started yet.

Thanks! Actually, I'm making them. I have a friend who does commercial sewing and embroidery and she's doing the fabric work for me. Same material and color as our awning.

If you look at the website of the vendor, RV Rearview Camera Systems, LLC, Fred Stokes is a member of Air Forums and an Airstream owner. There are endorsements by other members of Air Forums. But yes, I will report back.

Not new, but new to us! After years of NOT being able to master the "convection Microwave" , we finally converted the cooktop only into a cooktop/oven!!

As luck would have it George, a fellow member here in Tucson, went the opposite direction so to speak. [/IMG]

Over the past few months getting ready for this year's camping season, we replaced our dead Interstates (secretly planning on a complete electrical/solar/boondocking upgrade with Lewster when ready to retire), got a tempurpedic topper for the queen bed - WOW what a difference! - a pair of MaxxairII covers for the Fantastic Fans, and a strip of multi colored LEDs we applied to the beltline.

All fun stuff. Camping last weekend was outstanding! So good to be back in the Tin Goat! Daisy loved being in her silver dog house too. Oh - and we got her an LL Bean couch cover blanket she uses at home and in the trailer - though she apparently loved the new mattress topper too - this pic shows the LED strip and if you look closely enough, Daisy enjoying the topper on the bed while we were out at the fire :-)

I was asked about the mattress topper. It's a Fieldcrest 3" - photo of the box here - purchased at Target

Bought a De Walt 18/20volt cordless/cord vacuum. I did not buy the battery pack as I already have two 18 volt batteries. Used it today and it worked great.

Have a 110 volt Shark that is wonderful, but a couple years ago, Shark decided to discontinue making filters for them. I tried using an air filter designed for a lawnmower engine, but after a couple uses I gave up and purchased a vacuum of significantly lesser quality after spending too much time searching for a similar replacement.

Mine was also a replacement for a dyson that just did not have a long battery life. At least this one can go both ways battery and/or electric.

Do you mean battery longevity, or short runtime between charges? I got two batteries so I could use the vacuum for a half hour, but they have lasted for almost 5 years now, with no apparent shortened runtime.

I did have a defective battery, with some sort of flashing error code, but Dyson replaced at no charge. Maybe some early ones had an issue???

I had the vacuum for awhile but even in the beinning the battery ran down quickly and at the end it barely held a charge.

Today, I picked up our AM Solar Lithium Iron Phosphate 12Vdc 600 amp-hour battery at their store in Springfield, Oregon. At 168 pounds, it weighs over 200 pounds less than the four Lifeline 6CT batteries (same capacity) it will replace.
