If this photo does not work then just imagine if the Featherstone Flamingos had about 8" babies, smaller cute, easy to use and put out.

I will report from my perception the Ultrabreeze vent cover felt like the fans where pulling more air in and out on lower speeds than with the original cover.
Hideous is in the eye of the beholder ... functionality-wise, we prefer the overhand at the rear of the MaxxAir for better rain protection. We have one in each color ... dark in the bedroom and white at the other end.

Sbb,
In my experience on this forum, downsize image to a smaller size and it will display in the correct orientation.

Newbie here. Trying to get my Airstream in order and outfitted. Today I bought 2 Zip Dee Chairs, and chair extenders, and the carrying bag.

Just a tip if you are interested, the color # of your awning is on a tag on the left side of the awning. You will see it when you roll out your awning. Zip Dee recommends writing this # down because the tag will fade over time. The color on my cut sheet reads Putty. When I went to order, that wasn't good enough because there are several different putty's.

Would the one apple TV work on both TV sets or would you have to have one for each?

Amazon.com: Gizmode Innovations - Water Alarm: Patio, Lawn & Garden

I put one in each "corner". Under the curved windows in front and on either side of the rear "trunk" door. They already notified me once, when I didn't get my taillight sealed properly after changing out the LED assembly. But the ones in the rear were a little bulky and got bumped around a lot when removing/replacing chairs, etc. I saw these on special at some store. They mount up on the wall and are small, so.....

I'm gonna assume just one, since it connects with a single HDMI output. But, on a side note, Apple lowered their price to $69, so two isn't out of the budget. You're going to need a wireless router and high speed internet to use it, remember, unless you're just streaming off the computer.

One can acquire a two by one HDMI switch to send the signal to either the front or rear television. Airstream brings a HDMI cable from each television to the audio cabinet anyway. The other option is a two by two HDMI switch to send the DVD player or Apple TV to either television for independent viewing on each unit.

After 5 days or so in the Airstream, I have decided to upgrade the Clarion M502 and the speakers in the dinette. The 7 way knob is infuriating. While designed to be simple, my wife won't go near it. It has taken me 6 months to get use to it and when I don't have the remote handy I just curse.

So, I took plunge and bought:

Furrion DV3100
1 pair Infinity CF6032CF speakers.

Hopefully this will be a step up in ease of use and sound quality over the Clarion stuff. The sub got swapped out on about day one!

It is a shame, I was a big Clarion fan for years...

What did you get for your Trailer today?

I agree on the infuriating nature of the 7-way switch... I still haven't figured it out well enough to think I can walk up to the stereo and play the music I want without re-learning everything.

I usually set it to bluetooth audio and then just stream Pandora from my iPhone or iPad so I can have a little more intuitive control. Why doesn't Apple make an audio system for boats, RVs, and automobiles?!

Got the new 70's grey window gasket from Vintage Trailer Supply. Going to try it out on my '69 wing window and eventually on the '72 Argosy. They look them same. The fellow at VTS says people have bought them for their Vista Views but they are so new no one has posted a review for them yet. So hopeful :-)

New Michelin 16"ers

New Michelin 225/75/R16 E load range. 70k mile warranty too.
Rims arrive this Friday. No more worrying about GYM's ripping my undercarriage apart because they blew. A welcome relief.

Just make sure you don't have any broken studs. I had three that were broken inside the hub by over-torquing lug nuts. This was a previous owner issue, mine were torqued to spec with calibrated torque wrench. I lost the whole wheel/tire ass'y on I-65 at 60 MPH. Brand new Michelin LT tire and Sendel03 wheel. Quite a shock...

Bought a new antenna for our Voyager wireless camera. The previous antenna snapped right off during our drive east across New Mexico into a very strong headwind. Not easy to find, had to order from an RV supply company in San Antonio and meet the antenna there when we got into town. Don't even think about trying to get such a part from Camping World or Amazon. <sigh>

I finally got around to installing the PS4, AppleTV and the 4-way HDMI switcher box. Everything works great, can see laptop on the large 40" now...

I also made a simple velcro bracket for my Bose Soundlink III to act as a substitute soundbar. MUCH better sound than the stock speakers. I really didn't like having one of the trailer speakers in my ear when sitting in the lounge. The Bose sounds better, and the sound comes from the tv you're actually looking at instead of over one shoulder.

Couple Upgrades to the Safari

Ordered a Southco Omni Bob Transom Door Latch - 25 - 31 mm to replace the stock lever style handle on the bathroom door. Have hooked my belt loop, pants pocket, and jacket pocket on the stock lever style handle and worried about damaging the door. Love the look of the new smooth flush fit transom latch. Also received my new PD4655 55 Amp Converter Upgrade Kit from Best Converters. Hope to get this installed in the next few days. Have been educating myself by reviewing posts on the AS forum from those who have shared their experience and documentation on making the upgrade.
