Got a 4' x 2' piece of. 032 Alclad that will become a threshold cover, also going to cut some pieces to go at the end of each outrigger to prevent wear to the skin. (the VAP idea). The excess will find a use.

Doesn't have to be very cold outside for that inner wall to be very chilly! I solved this by making an adult-size "crib bumper". First, I cut a seven-inch-wide strip of one-inch-thick foam rubber, seven feet long. This reaches from the head-end hamper to the foot hamper. I wrapped it with a layer of quilt batt---leftover from quilting projects---then made an envelope out of a seven-foot length of a cheap fleece blanket, sewing right sides together, turning, an inserting the foam core. Buying the blanket at Walmart was cheaper than buying the yard goods, and I have something left over to cover matching pillows.

I turned the open ends inside, pinned to fit the core, then whip-stitched the entire length by hand. It didn't take very long. Voila! A nice, snuggly, warm, backrest for the bed---and no more butt freeze!

Pictures please! We same trailer, same issue!

Let me get this straight.

You want pictures of her husband's butt freezing?

Hi, and some of the same people dislike Classics and Safari's that don't have that problem because of the mouse fur walls.

I finished the install of my Airsafe class V hitch today. It's used in conjunction with an Equalizer 10k bars. The front of the truck is within 1/3 of an inch of perfect for the WD, so I'm not going to mess with it further. The added benefit is the truck tailgate now clears the Jack!

I'll recheck torques and the we are ready for a winter trip.

No butt freeze in our 27FB with the bed nicely positioned in the middle of the room. OTOH, we sometimes get arm freeze or hand freeze from touching the wall at our heads...so we could probably use the same buffer treatment there.

If it what I think it's, they are usually labeled as a 13 watt bulb which is equivalent in light output to a 60 watt incandescent bulb.

Wonder how many of us were wearing the same PJs at the Canopener. We should have had a fashion show!

We can get rid of a bulky odd shaped Airstream pillow that makes that side of the dinette an uncomfortable place to sit. The dinette sleeping space will not be negatively impacted. And we will some more hard flat space to put things on since the kitchen counter top space is limited.

We are also going to retrofit a Maxim skylight in lieu of the original one from Airstream. We are leaning towards Bronze, clear, clear for the three layers. We will still have the pull across Airstream skylight curtain.
Could you post a picture of your cabinet? We want to get rid of that weird cushion, too.

Bought an adapter from Skatiero at the Canopener last weekend. Love having the running lights on while we're camping!
