It all comes in one kit, cradle included. I chose to permanently mount antenna and ran the wiring into the interior.

The external antenna and the signal booster combination bring my reception to five bars most of the time!

I mounted our Aluminum (or metal) Moose Clock that we picked up in the Grand Tetons. Seems to go with the Airstream and Eddie Bauer theme

Just curious, how did you mount it? Nice clock, by the way.

Our daughter-in-law gave her to us while we were visiting them a couple of weeks ago.

Moen is sending me a new sprayer for the galley sink. The old one is leaking badly. They are unexpectantly honoring their life time guarantee. I was just hoping to buy one. Outstanding customer service.

Yup - EU7000 - my local dealer matched online pricing and I was pleased

I have access now to an undeveloped lake property of my friends and we will camp there for quick weekend fun often (he will soon put in a dock and maybe buy a pontoon boat) - and for home backup power use as well as to fully make my airstream usable when I have company

Genny is on order - will take 4-5 days to get to dealer

Note that the Honda 7000is has a 30 amp 120/240 outlet. When connected with a 50 amp cord, power management is still required as there is only 30 amps on each leg.

I have a digital display on my 50 amp surge suppressor and both air conditioners draw about 31 amps when powered on at the same time. In my unit, they are on the same leg but in two different panels. Thus one needs to check the trailer wiring to see if some breaker locations might be changed to put an air conditioner on each leg. However, the microwave and the small air conditioner might just co-exist on one leg if running together.....

The toilet is a Dometic 310.

The valve allowed for sporadic leaks of water into the bowl which could eventually fill it and overflow onto the floor.

The original bottom toilet ring was indented badly and will be kept as a battle spare. We also have a spare knife gate seal (what opens and closes with the foot pedal to allow the bowl to empty.

I will create a thread for the genny later so as to not divert this thread too far

Those points Switz were discussed in another thread earlier and honda rep gave all the numbers as well - good points - it is not "true 50amp service" - more like 22.9 amps per leg as I recall

Spoke with a couple eu6500 owners that gave me useful feedback as well

More later - bedtime for me!!

Mrsin has done another couple of mod this summer. First off the toaster shelf. Everyone needs a toaster shelf right?

Tucked away

Pulled out drawer closed.

Toaster with drawer closed.

Oops I need something out of the drawer

Next up, you know that annoying drop down door that gives you access to the storage under the bed?

Make it a drawer!!

Note the wine box is now full after a trip to Trader Joe's! We leave for our winter adventure Wednesday.

Sporadic leaks may be a symptom of too much pressure in the water system, usually caused by expansion in the hot water heater with no other relief in the closed system. The thermal/pressure valve on the hot water heater ought to relieve this pressure but it will find the weakest point.

The air bubble in the hot water heater should absorb of this pressure, but if it doesn't the air bubble is lost out the thermal/pressure relief valve. We added a water pressure accumulator to take up the excess pressure.

Sometimes that's not enough to keep hot water from escaping the the thermal/pressure relief valve. We noticed this more when we got the newer Airstream with combination electric/propane water heater, although the propane water heater did the same thing. So we turn the water heater off at night or when not used for long periods. That works.

Thumbs up

Winegard G2 sat dish, splitter/switcher, DirectTV receiver.

Here are some pictures of the setup for the BluRay, DirectTV receiver and the splitter/switcher for two TV's. I can watch DirectTV and/or BluRay in living room or in the bedroom at the same time. Excited that this little project is in place and over! . My photos didn't post.
