Bob, thanks for the find.
I just found something very interesting about this door roller when I talked with Jimmie at customer service with Zip Dee.
He said Jackson Center must have a box full of these rollers; they ship this roller with every awning they sell!!!
Bought one from him anyway. They sell for $8.95 plus 5.95 shipping.

Incredible! You buy a $95,000 trailer and then they sell you a part for $9 that you've theoretically already paid for!

Yes crabbey1 we keep our camper at tcpc @ Crossville ,Tn. Phone reception is terrible 99% of the time. I have iPhone 4 that will pick okay but wife has iPhone 5 with 4G and reception is almost non existent. If you give me idea of what you have it would appreciated.

RX there are two choices. Depending on your carrier Wilson has the appropriate Sleek where you slide the phone into a cradle. Most recently released, and has more power, is the Wilson 4G. This is the next generation of booster, will do 5 bands so nearly all carriers and costs about 2.5 times more. But it does work very well. In talking with Wilson I asked if you have two devices close to the inside antenna (it uses an antenna rather than a cradle) will they both be boosted and the answer was yes. Still skeptical but works well. I bought a second internal and external antenna and power supply for the trailer. Quick disconnect out of the truck and move the box to the trailer.
See information here: Wilson Mobile 50db 5-Band SmarTech III Repeater Kit - 460108 [700/800/1900/1700/2100mhz] : 3Gstore.com
So far Wilson appears to be the first to meet the new FCC standards for LTE boosters. Works great in the mountains. You still need some signal but will get a much more solid connection.

mud flaps
Our dump valves are located just behind the tires , and receive a lot of trash. Has anyone seen mud flaps for an Airstream? I have seen some home made ones on a Classic 28 but would rather have some store bought. Any help would be appreciated !

Let my clarify.
I purchased the $8. roller from Zip Dee.
Had I called Airstream and asked for that which I'm entitled, I would have had to plead my case, and IF they agreed to send the roller to me, they would have charged me $25. for shipping and handling.
Whatever way you look at it, it's lose, lose. ;-)

Just supplies this time
Today we just got some more kitchen supplies we missed on our last trip. Nothing exciting but at least the nesting melamine bowls are festive

I haven't found anything, not saying theres nothing out there, but I was seriously considering fabricating something like a broom sweep to provide some type of protection to the dump valve area. Something light weight, but durable.

I've done a lot of searching this morning and I cannot find anything for travel trailer mud flaps. I found a few pics with some but I think everything is fabricated for the TTs, only RVs have out of the box flaps. You might contact one of the links below and pose the question to them.

If I were going to make a set of flaps for an Airstream, I'd go to the nearest truck stop and buy a cheap mud flap for a big truck. Then cut two small flaps from the material and rivet them to the inside of the rear edge of the fender wells using washers or even a rectangular piece of metal to support the rubber.

Ditto.
The door does not touch the awning when I open it. I have the back of the awning one notch lower than the front for rain/dew runoff and the door doesn't touch.

2 washers from Progress Manufacturing- the truck is dead level, but the trailer is ever so slightly nose down. A rain shower tells the tale. 4 washers in the hitch head- hopefully a fifth washer will raise the front of the trailer just a little tiny bit.

This occurred to me while sitting outside eating fried fish- my wife won't let me eat fried fish in the trailer- she says it stinks- I don't really notice because I'm all stopped up-

Our Classic is 1/4" nose down (measuring at the trim strip at the edge of the rear and front body shells) or as Sean said, "level". The airbag system keep the truck level.
