go to amazon and type “sonin moisture meter” - model is 50211....there are alot of brands of these it seems...it is a metal probe you stick into wood, drywall, carpet, etc and if there is moisture it *should* read it and pick it up....I just tried mine...seemed to be working at first, but the cord appears to be faulty, amazon return in process argh argh...the idea is to prod around the perimeter of your interior of your trailer and detect leaks that hit the subfloor early...some do this every 2-4 months just to keep an eye out to catch it early, fix leaks, prevent floor rot, etc....

Im not so sure about this moisture meter...but probably will work ok once I get replacement...

I didn't know if it had to do with leakage or with humidity. How does a dehumidifier help?

A relatively nearby (130 miles) high altitude (6,600 feet) permanent Airstream only summer camp site to get away from the summer "warmth" in the Phoenix area. We plan to make it our hub or base of operations for our summer travel(s).

I'm assuming with that kind of elevation you must be around Sadona or someplace? Pictures would be nice!

Cheers

We just stopped by Ponderosa Shadows in Show Low, AZ around 4:00pm (on the way home from the Santa Fe 4CU rally) to see what the place was like. There are only 40 memberships and several were available for sale. There is a common meeting hall and each space has full hookups and can support a second RV in guest status (water and power - no sewer) for a very short period of time. By the time our purchase decision was reached, it was nearly dark and we had been fed a nice dinner by some residents.

We elected to back into our future space and park for the night and got underway early the next morning to get home.

The paperwork has to be completed and submitted to the BoD of the operation for approval before the share can be transferred to us for a cash settlement.

Congrats Switz we live in Phx and often go north for heat relief. We have often thought about a cabin up north but hesitate to have a second house to honey do. Since getting our Airstream we now look forward to maybe having a place in Ponderosa that would serve as heat relief and a pad for the Airstream. Nice to know you we're able to finalize your lot.

I needed to replace the flaps on my Rocktamers, old flaps used on the previous GMC Sierra were to short with the Sierra 2500. Great service from Rocktamers, had the replacements in a few days. Figured with the change I would get the Airstream inserts.

I ordered the wingman update that came out last week, the Rayzar Air antenna.

I am amazed at the number of stations the Wingman antenna picks up. The Rayzar Air is supposedly every bit as powerful and even better in channels in the lower spectrum. The write-up says that the move is not official yet on the signals but that they are supposed to be moving stations to lower channels, So, it is Winegard's way of future proofing. They are also going after the Jack antenna by providing a bi-directional antenna instead of a directional design as in the winegard digital add-on or the Jack requiring less adjustment to pull in the optimum signal.
