It was reinforced - so my husband believes you can tow a vehicle with it.

Laura,

It is generally believed, based on experience, these modifications will destroy your new Airstream. I haven't read the warranty in this regard but the damage will probably be excluded. Check with Airstream on these modifications before you use them.

The chairs are very comfortable...

Was trying to find a link for the company with the chairs....would you mind providing a bit more information? Is that the manufacturer and did you purchase directly from them? Looks like they incorporate the footrest which would be a real plus. Great conversion and work, thanks for sharing it.

A new place to park....

This is our first AS, and after a 2500 mi delivery from NJ to PHX, it seems very content with its new spot. The neighbors don't mind it because it is an AS. In fact not more than 3 hours after getting it home an impromptu block party popped up around it.

Congratulations on your new purchase! I can't blame everyone for wanting a block party centered around your new baby! Looks like a great place for it! Have fun and safe travels!

Believe it or not, there is no link! It's a family owned Amish company, here are the details.

Vernon Lambright
Lambright Comfort Chairs, LLC

Phone: 260.768.4820

Tell Vern that you talked to me.

They have a couple sizes, plus a love seat. The smallest size chairs work well in the AS.

Good luck, let me know how it goes.

I tried to get a latch/catch for one of the drawers under the dinette. It can't wait until our September service center appointment. You can't buy it from Airstream unless you are there. You have to buy it from a dealer even though the dealers are 4-5 hours away and it would be FedEx-ed anyway- probably from Airstream but purchased through a dealer.
OK. Well. It should be warranty because it is a 2013.
"I'll transfer you to warranty."
All I get is an opportunity to leave s voice mail.

We have the Sleep Number RV radius cut bed too. Love it. Just need to remember to deflate it prior to dropping in elevation :-). Purchased from Camping World.com website during a sale.

Also did the Lambright Comfort Chairs: 260-768-4821

I'd like to ask about those chairs -- why have all of you chosen those particular chairs? Just wondering.......is it the comfort; are they a bit lighter in weight than others; how do you anchor them to the floor for traveling?

As you might wonder, we have talked about doing this someday.

Thanks.

This is a bit in reverse, so not really within this thread's topic, but we need a new peizo (sp) and knob for our '99's cooktop (we have an oven below). Where is the best place to purchase one?

Thanks.

New Sink Cover/Chopping Block

I just finished our new Sink Cover/Chopping Block in time for our maiden voyage. I did not like the plastic one that came with our new 2014 19' Flying Cloud so I put together some Cherry and Claro (Black) Walnut and made one. It is finished in walnut oil to seal it and has an inner lip to fit snugly into the sink. Maybe I can go into production???
