No worries, RoadCessna! In spite of how many "necessary" items I've had to purchase because of this thread, I can't stop looking for more.

If you start running out of ideas, take a look at Uncrate for a faster way to spend money. I spent three hours just looking one night. Foolishness!

I just bought and installed a set of stabilizer jacks on my '64 Safari. I don't know if these were available as early as '64, but I was tired of setting up with the little aluminum jack stands. It was always hard to figure out exactly where to put it to be under the frame. The new ones fit perfectly and work like a charm. No more bouncy bouncy.

By the way, I have a set of original vintage portable stabilizer jacks for sale if anyone is interested.

They need added value. Just put 'em on Ebay and say they came from Bob Hope's Airstream, like everybody else there does.

Actually, I might be if they aren't 700 times the price of new ones because they belonged to Bob Hope or were used in Space Capsule recovery.

Sbb, you must tell us where.

Jwestman, it's not that we don't trust, but for all we know you bought a used Subaru. Photos are required.

Our Silverado doesn't have factory gps, but I think this will be a better option
Purchased at Crutchfield. Excellent price and Crutchfield has best in class service.

Now counting the weeks, due to weather our airstream is delayed until April 20th.

Unorthodox order, but in the end it all adds up! Good on you! :-)

Spring?

Five inches of snowfall this morning, but sunny and 50's over the weekend.
I'm seeing Florida in my future next winter!

A new used set of aluminum rims with good marathon tires for 200 bucks and a tank of gas and tolls. Now I need to get some chrome lug nuts to mount them.
