Yesterday iI made the mistake of stepping into Ikea, and walked out with a whole new set of towels that have a loop sewn on for hanging, those along with so,e new very nice wall hooks will keep our towels hanging.

Got home from Canopener yesterday and found a new Andersen 8 inch drop stringer waiting for me. It will be nice to have my Andersen WD system back up and running.

What did you get for your Trailer today?
You put two pieces of buttered bread with pie filling or pizza fixings in an cast iron two-sided pan that folds in half. You place the whole contraption on hot coals & cook till crunchy. YUM! Pie Iron!

Gluten-free bread, of course

Since an angry stomach forced me onto a gluten-free diet, I've found that most of the gluten-free breads in the stores resemble dry cardboard. However, there's a nice selection of gluten-free bread mixes on the market. I've tried Bob's Red Mill and King Arthur brands and I like both of them. iherb.com is my source, but the internet seems to be rich with options.
So, the answer to the gluten-free pie iron must be to start with two slices of homemade gluten-free bread. If someone tries it, please let me know how it works. I don't have a pie iron, yet.
The recipes work well with conventional kitchen tools and a good bread pan. Gluten-free bread does not require kneading, so a few minutes in a mixer does the job. We did it that way for a few loaves to make sure we liked it.
DH gave me a bread machine for Christmas, I'm all set.

We are working on our 54 FC and have been contemplating going with a Nature's head toilet. So after looking around for a distributor here in Mi. I ran across a guy that sells them. So this afternoon the guy drives 55 miles one way out to our house and brings a new NH toilet for us to see. WOW!! talk about curb service!! So we spend some time learning about them, how they works etc, and eventually end up in the Spoon. We put it here, we put it there , and so on, trying to figure out the logistics. Then the guy says "tell ya what, I'll leave it for you to play around with and you call we when you figure out the how, what, where, and when, of it."
Ding!! Ding!!, can't be that for customer service....

Reading about service like that, I had a flash back to when I was a kid and the doctor actually made a house call. Seems like yesterday, but it was the early 50s.

May I ask where you sourced / decided to make the purchase on the flip-overs?

Arrived today. A newwww toilet! Exciting? Well yes when you consider those walks in the dark middle of the night to the porta potty or the public restrooms. A composting toilet from Natures Head. Had the interior of the trailer gutted and remodeled last year and saved the bathroom until I reloaded my money gun.
Next will be building some storage and plumbing the shower.

Got the upholstery for our pull out full bed. The cushion(s) are in two pieces so if we would like to set it up for seating we can do that. Because all our work so far has been underneath or on the tongue it looks a bit out of place (to nice). But since we are using it during its revitalization a decent surface to sleep on was important.
