Shades!!
Picked the widow guard up from Inland a few months back while we were on vacation in the LA area. (The box just b-a-r-e-l-y fits in the back of a Tahoe).
Finally got around to putting it on..
Now - of course- I'm paranoid about it blowing off.
Of course.

Love that 2 piece step. We put 16" tires on our 22' sport and now its quite a step to get in. I wonder if that 2 piece step would work for us. Where did you get it? How much was it?

It's a Stromberg Carlson and I got it at eTrailer.com for $88 shipped. It was a replacement for our damaged two step. Here's a link to the specs if you want to measure.... Stromberg Carlson Two Step Specs - etrailer.com

New toys
We unpacked some of our Christmas goodies today in preparation for taking them out to the trailer: two big Tervis tumblers with Texas Longhorn symbols, burnt orange for him and pink for me! A nifty collapsible 2 quart measuring/mixing cup that ought to neatly pack into the trailer, and a Coleman lantern with a rechargable battery that can be charged on either AC or DC power.

Closer to the finish(ed) line
It looked like all the Hickory cabinets, the kitchen sink countertop and bathroom countertop were in the trailer around 2:30pm Friday, 10 January, afternoon. Everything was not necessarily completely installed or hooked up. The cook top/oven combination and standard microwave were on a cart by the door. The two street side and rear awnings were completely installed. The main awning proper was still MIA, but the center brace was installed. Some of the drapes and valances were installed.
It is really amazing that EVERYTHING inside the trailer comes through the door. The caveat is of course like Christmas Eve, some assembly may be required once through the door.

It must be so exciting to watch the process. Will they let you take pictures? I would love to see some of the various stages.

Today I got two strongback for my upcoming birthday. I have to say that these are the most comfortable camp chairs I have ever tried. I was skeptical at first but I am thoroughly convinced now.
If you have not tried them, I encourage you to do so, you won't regret it.

"out for delivery" today are a new water pump and strainer for il Progetto, and a 7-gallon water tote for boondocking. 7 gallons doesn't sound like much until you consider the 30-gallon nominal capacity (less in reality) of my vintage freshwater tank in each trailer.

Coffee or Tea?
I bought this Atomic Modern Flameware Coffee Percolator and this Atomic Modern Pyrex Tea Brewer on Etsy. They'll be perfect for our AS.

Thank you! It's killing me that the weather back east precludes our driving back and picking up the trailer. We're hoping to go the last week of March, but I'm worried that in NJ and other parts back east, March might go out like a lion.
