I got this one: Amazon.com: Technology Research 10175 Surge Guard 50 Amp Voltage Regulator: Automotive
They have both 50A and 30A versions. I liked it because it has a line conditioner and sturdy legs and handles which I can use to chain to something to secure it. A determined thief can probably cut the chain but will deter more than the plastic holder the other inline surges have. Plus this way even if they run off with my cable they will not get the surge.

A number of brands and models have been discussed here on the forums. I purchased the EMS--PT30C from Progressive Industries. Seemed to me from reading the comments that this is one of the preferred ones.
More info here: EMS-PT30C

Here is the surge protector we bought, item #58464 at Camping World. It's a 30 amp and has an internet price of around $222.

We have had the surge guard for over a year now- saved us some headache at a campground in Fl-- it wouldn't give us power due to a polarity problem- when the fixit guy came to check out the box, it was so old, it just fell apart. Glad we had it!

I just installed two new Maxim skylights, what a quality product and a great company to deal with. Also installed my new stainless steel water fill door, a bit more difficult to install than I would have thought. The hose that have to be reattached were a bear to stretch that far and tighten the clamps while holding the new new door assembly as close to the trailer as possible.

Who's the underwriter?? My company will only write agreed value on "antique" trailers. Currently have ACV (actual cash value) which basically means the insurer can decide whatever they want in the event of a claim. I retired from the recreational marine insurance biz, where agreed value policies are the standard. I want one for this expensive Airstream!

You might want to check with Coach Net.. I think I'm going to be switching to them. They will do an agreed value on my '91..

Yep, I read the reviews. It has an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars, and a few people were less than happy. I should put a review on there, because so far I'm one of the happy ones. However, when it finally sacrifices itself to save my trailer's electrical system, I might replace it with a EMS--PT30C from Progressive Industries, as that also has good reviews.

What did you get for your Trailer today?
Circling wagons on ordering 2 zip dee chairs as we have no camping chairs.
(Had a couple folding type camping chairs and narrow but with 148 lbs broke a plastic joint on one of them and other is at it's end).

If you get them, can you review them? My initial thoughts are I like them because they match.(for whatever it's worth I like matching things). The chair itself doesn't look like it is great quality and it looks uncomfortable, not that what we have it great quality nor comfortable. I really the director style chair with the nice table that opens to the side.

They're pretty high quality. The steel is much thicker and joints more robust than typical folding chairs.

I am going to search around here locally and see if any are in a store I can sit in for myself - their website lists a number of places - going to call them - if reasonably comfortable I'll pull trigger and will post a full review

The wooden arms and material that matches the awning are nice.
