I bought a 1.5 inch thick mattress topper at Target. The brand name is Threshold. It was $65. It's just a slab of memory foam.
The PO of our trailer removed the twin beds in back and built a bed that fits a standard queen mattress. No cutting. But it looks like it would be easy to cut. I put it under the mattress cover to keep it in place instead of under the fitted sheet like the packaging said.

On cold rainy days I find that the fan in the shower and the fan in the hood over the stove top can help reduce moisture build-up inside the trailer. I can also manually open the FF doors just enough to let a little air flow and keep out the rain, though of course the FF fans won't run in that configuration.

The mattress in our FC20 is downright painful! Like sleeping on a board, which is essentially what we're doing. Thin-ish mattress on plywood. We bought a memory foam 2 1/2" topper, cut it down with an electric knife, and now have a bed I think our backs will tolerate much better! Looking forward to a trip to Louisiana over Memorial Weekend.

A few years ago, after many sleepless nights and aching back mornings in our new AS we bought a Denver mattress made for AS with curved end bed and have never looked back. AS should be ashamed of themselves for the sorry excuse for a mattress they use at the piece they charge for a trailer. Just saying.

Hi there. Could you provide a link to their queen bed with the rounded corners? I'm not seeing it on their website - must be looking in all the wrong places.

Bought the two EU 2000 Honda Generators, plus a short 50 to 30 amp conversion cord so I do not have to haul the larger cord to smaller 30 amp house adapter, cost was $54.00--generators cost a different story.

We bought a denver mattress after one night in our new international 30.

Ditto on the cheapa$$ cardboard excuse of a mattress that is used in these high dollar travel trailers.

We asked about it at the store. We also asked about the radius end corners but the guy we talked to didn't know about radiused corners, only rv queen size. So, they may not be on the website. The one we got is very comfy.

We also added E load tires and gave away the GYM (my friend calls em rag tires)

We have gone about 10,000 miles with no problems. Although we did pick up a couple of nails on I 10 and had to replace the tire because of a clumsy tire tech.

We also got the memory foam matress for our Airstream after the first night on the OEM mattress. That thing was horrible. We got ours from Costco.

What did you get for your Trailer today?

Denver mattress with curved ends: It's is sold as "RV Supreme Euro Top Foam Mattress; 11" Radius Corners" comes in lots of sizes (ours is short queen)... If you can't get Denver Mattress folks on the phone to ID it, you can get it thru Lippert Components Inc in their store www.lippertcomponents.com/rv-deluxe-plush and click k on parts store

I spent the first night at the Airstream dealership after signing the paperwork on our 25FB International Serenity trying to rest on the odd shaped factory 7" cross frame queen bed. I knew it had to go.

After reading the forums, I learned that the Airstream 600 thread custom sheets we had ordered were actually too large for the Airstream mattress, so we ordered a 8" custom (cut to the Airstream drawing) mattress from Rocky Mountain Mattress company and were very pleased with the results. The 8" mattress was the thickest mattress that would fit properly beside the little night stand and the bottom sheet fit like it was supposed to.

Memory Foam Mattress | Custom Mattress | Adjustable Bed | Custom Made Mattress | Latex Bed

They have periodic sales that drop the price considerably and their pillows are great as well.

While at the factory watching the build of our Classic, I requested they keep the factory twin bed mattresses as I already had the Rocky Mountain custom shaped 8" twin bed mattresses and 600 thread Airstream custom sheets at our home. I did not know that the design of the twin bed center night stand in the Classic (and perhaps the Flying Cloud twin bed option) would have allowed up to a 10" thick mattress to be ordered and Rocky Mountain does offer custom sheets to fit.

We both sleep well on these custom mattresses.

I was looking for ways to solve the problem of the gap between the blinds and the wall of the two windows in the dining area of our 20' Flying Cloud. Discovered some moss green tea towels at Bed, Bath, and Beyond that were exactly the right length for curtains. Then, I found placemats and napkins in the EXACT shades and pattern of the back cushions. Of course, I bought them! Will cut two napkins to use as borders on the curtains and keep two to go with the two place mats. Napkin rings for tie-backs.

New Stuff : Camp Kitchen

It's the little things to look forward to! New collapsible colander, retro measuring cups, and unbreakable wine glasses that look amazingly like crystal! My kids knew what to get me for my trailer.
