Talking Officially ours

This morning we had the "manufactured housing inspection" done ($60) then went to the out-of-state vehicle transfer place, got our license plate ($30) and applied for the title transfer.

"King's Landing" is now officially ours, licensed, titled and insured. Our first AS, our retirement travels can now begin.... when the snow and sleet ends.

Oh, and an assortment of fuses

King's Landing? Does it come with an Iron Throne?

Lara Me, love the runners! I think I'll make a stop on the way home tomorrow night... Maybe I'll leave all my cash in the car.

Once I have a plaque made, it will. Of course, that's over the objections of my DW, but I think she'll eventually get used to it.

She likes Game of Thrones, but she's not keen on decorating the interior in that motif.

The name really comes from my nickname; King. I fish with a bunch of guys and we like Monty Python. It's a silly story for another forum

Becky -- Oh pooh, I was hoping for more pics. You must have a knack to be in the right place at the right time to get the really good ones and at a good price! Are you planning to post a few pics after you have her completed?

Just when you thought Christmas was over you get a package from VTS that has light diffusers, a level, your water fill port, some lenses, screen door holder opener thingy, and the gas lamp globe plus.....yeah. Now to make time to put it on before the next outing. Thx VTS

Well, this last week I went wild ordering items. I ordered the Oceanair blinds for four windows. I will be working on a way to integrate them into the Safari by continuing to use the cornice boards. One of them will not fit as is so some cutting will be required.

I also got an induction cooktop for electric cooking. It works great only one issue - a frying pan for eggs. I ended up ordering a le creuset 9" skillet $$$ as I tried every brand labelled FOR INDUCTION that Bed Bath and Beyond carried - none of the small skillets worked - All-Clad, Cuisinart DS Induction, etc. Amazing. Just an FYI for anyone considering induction. My all-clad saucepan works just fine but I discovered that when the diameter gets smaller, the magnetic field must diminish too and then the sensor says NADA. Skillets have less body so apparently it is tough to find one that works that is of any non-stick type. The enamel isn't fully non-stick on the le creuset but it is better than regular cast iron, especially on upkeep.

I also got the Billy Bob outdoor campfire cooking kit and a camper dutch oven. Now that I have extended my eating/cooking options- electric/gas/campfire, I just need to get camping!

Used a pool stick clip to mount my mini maglight. Holds it perfectly and cost less than a buck from your local billiard store. Or on Amazon in packs of 8 and you could use the rest to store your fishing rods. Link to amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846
