They just added the stainless steel waterfill to the website. At $185, I think my plastic one is fine for now! Stainless Waterfill

I would love a SS water door, my original is looking a little old after 10 years.

New Jack

I bought, painted and installed a new jack (3,500 lb) in my 95 34'. I got it from PPL. Interesting that the white SOB jack was about $230. The Black jack, that I really wanted, was close to $400. Needless to say, I bought the white jack and painted it with some Airstream Pewter Gray Frame paint ($18.95/can). Now I have some touchup paint for the A frame also. I did not even price the Pewter Gray Jack from Airstream. I'll bet it was close to $500. My painted jack does not have the "light" and "switch" decals on them; I could probably get them from the mfg., but they are really not needed- not for me anyway.

note- only one photo would load.

You will love those towels. I highly recommend them, easy to hang, fun colors and easy to dry. I use the hand towels in the kitchen as well. Have the Airstream and the house stocked with them. I must say you have very good taste!

My 95 34' had the original Sony cassette stereo radio. I just replaced it with a Pioneer stereo CD player with blue tooth for playing music from my android phone, an aux jack and usb jack. Get you one from Amazon for only $104 delivered to your door (model DEH-X6600BT). Easy installation.

I'm going to have to pay someone like Car Toys to put a pigtail onto the stereo in my trailer with a mini plug on it so I can connect it to my MP3 player. Why they didn't include something so stupidly obvious in the stock installation for a new trailer, I'll never know. There's a nice shelf nearby where I could put the little player, and with a 1-2' cord coming out of that in-dash stereo it would be dirt simple to plug that into my player and listen to tunes all day long. Bluetooth is Ok, but it eats batteries and not every MP3 player is equipped...cords are cheap and they work every single time, no muss no fuss. <sigh>

Bill

It does not make any sense that the stereo in your new Airstream doesn't have an auxiliary input jack so you can plug in your music source (mp3 player or cell phone).

Dan,

Are you sure you don't have a USB input. On our new AS, the Front of the Sony radio flips open and it has a slot to put the smartphone, plus a USB connection.

My Sony in my 2013 has an iPod connection, iPod docking station where the CD player would normally be, and USB, but I don't even bother because it is Bluetooth, also. I can get the devices paired, then close the cabinet and control the music and volume from the device (iPad, iPhone, what have ya).

Yep. I have a bluetooth device, but most of my music is on a toothless MP3 player. I'm still living in the 00's, I guess!
