Well, as they are part of a set, (2) 20 minute full submersions in a heavily concentrated clorox solution with rinsing and drying in between says yes. Same with the removal tool.

Simple soap or detergent and water would have done the trick, same as washing one's hands after using the restroom. (Brain bleach might be needed to clear the mental image out of people's minds, but that has less to do with the actual sanitation.)

Funny you should post this, one of the things you bought came in handy yesterday evening...........
After to much snow plowing I had to re-fill the old 8-N and in the process a part of the new fan dangled pour spout fell into the tank. So now here I am, at about dark, 10 degrees out, holding my cell phone and using the flashlight app. to see down the 2" fill hole in the tank, using the afore mentioned thing to try and grab hold of the plastic spout. Luckily the claws on the thing opened wide enough that I was able to retrieve the spout, just as I was about to freeze to death. Good thing as we are expected to get 8-10" more snow today.....
Adding a 'thing' to the camper tool box as soon as I can make it to town.

Yeah, as I kid I lived on a farm in the midwest and experiencing the annual cleaning of the pig barn first hand inured me to things icky when solving problems such as this. Just thought I'd share as a happy ending story for those of us who feel guilty picking up "might come in handy someday" doodads at the hardware. The chlorine was probably overkill but I wanted to be sure. I thought I'd sanitized (pun intended) the story enough for publication but failed to consider the imagination factor.

I bought a new Iota converter/charger and a fuse box, as well as a new water pump and water strainer! I have PEX to buy and a water filter, so that is going to be today or tomorrow. Yeah!

Best Sweatshirt ever!

Found a source for Navy Hoodies, and local embroiderer who found special font, and embroidered the front of the sweatshirt in silver thread... May not mean much to White Box RV owners, but sure to get a look at next Airstream event...

Not overkill at all ...Essential at some of the more remote cg where we sometimes stay. The wiring would scare a fireman.
