Love the sign! BTW, is there such a thing as a wine rack for travel trailers? Taking the responsible route. Not looking for one for the truck!

Too late, Hibby! We just bought a 2014 Sierra today to pull the darn thing! Bet that will set the record for most expensive accessory. I went on strike when my husband said he was going to pull our trailer with his 4 Runner----his '98 4 Runner with 1/3 million miles on it! With a GVR the same as the trailer! Nope! Not happenin' in this lifetime!

Hi, I got the shirt at WELCOme TO GYpsyville! THe HOme of the onE and oNly - Junk GYpSy co.. The company is called "Junk Gypsy". The shirts run really small - I got an extra large and normally wear a medium. I think they were made for skinny teenage girls, but this middle aged momma is going to wear it by golly

Interesting that your hubby made that Silverado "your idea". I need to speak with him about his strategy, as I have a major purchase in mind too!

Laughing....well the Yukon is being prepped and the 25 is still in storage waiting for the second ice age to recede. We got a little more snow today so it may be July before the car and trailer actually meet. Being an optimist though, I'm hoping to be on the road April 1. Pics as soon as the camera thaws.

Oh, it was my idea, okay! The idea of possibly breaking down half way between nothing and nowhere just didn't appeal to me, at all!

Jim
I rememember when I was at MSU for graduate school and we took our children to the Upper Penlnsula the first week of Sept and it snow on us. I also remember having to have a long pole with a flag on our VW in order to find it in the parking lots and to let cars know we were turning

free snow

For my trailer today I got a "light dusting" (5 inches) of snow. There's a Globe Trotter under there, still, I hope...

After nine years of use I've removed the Hensley Arrow and am having the factory orange paint blasted with steel media so that I may refinish the entire unit with a new coating of paint. The factory A-Frame is also in line to be refinished with a new coating of paint.

Hi Remax gal. Oh so envious! Both photos explain why Florida is such a huge attraction for those of us who reside in the northern states and Canada. This has been one of the longer winters and to say we are looking forward to spring would be an understatement. Jim

This has been the longest winter i can remember in my life.
The weather here has broken, and now it's on like a chicken bone.
You can find me in my trailer somewhere almost every weekend from now till November- starting tomorrow- I am bringing my trailer to work with me so when I get off I can go to the campground.
Woohoo! Chompin' at the bit. Rarin' to go. I'm so excited I'm about to bust.

Urnmor, the Michigan upper peninsula is normally a gorgeous place in September with warm days and cool evenings. Most of the tourists have left so you get a nice choice of camping spots. And look at the great stories you can take with you! I had a similar experience in Banff on the July1 long weekend several years ago. Adds to the adventure and glad for the experience, sort of. The pain of it decreases as my teeth get longer. Jim

Hibby...can't post photos from my ipad, they end up upside down everytime. First trip is Ronks, Pa Florry's. then i use it for work about 160 nites. With gkids we go to Yogi in NY State, then work again and finish in November with VT trip. Check out my personalized vintage train case. Photos are of my camping growing up and now with Airstream and grand kids.

Yes, Florida may be nice in the winter, but hell in the summer! And, all of you have so many beautiful places to go in the summer that are too far out of my reach for now! I bought two strongback chairs and got them in! They are awesome! Really, really like the lumbar support! Pricey, but very comfortable!
