No other appliance installed - the lower box is the freezer that is part of the Isotherm and the very bottom silver door below the freezer was an existing cabinet.

The breaker panel is on the opposite side of that silver door, standard location in a 27FB.

Swapped to an Isotherm fridge/freezer combo, so now the fridge works when driving. Cools down quite a bit faster too. Hoping this will be a good combo with the planned Solar upgrade
Can you please give us the part number and supplier of the Isotherm? Thanks.

Thanks for the additional information. I was referring to the bottom-most silver panel covering your breaker box.

I really like that silver door cover over the breaker panel. Looks a lot better than my panel cover in my 2022 Globetrotter 27FB Twin. See below for a photo.

Any ideas where that breaker panel came from? Was it factory installed by Airstream? If you don't mind me asking, what year and model is your 27fb?Click image for larger version

moving from sport to fc, the feet on the levelers were wider
the small feet on the sport fit the 4" bolts, but the FC needed 5" but lippert does make them

The Isotherm is the 195 Stainless. You can find them many places. Ultimate Airstream did my install.

The silver door cover isn’t for the breaker box. It’s literally just a cabinet door painted silver. It came standard on the 2017 27FB International.

My breaker box is on the opposite side and is a standard metal door. I did upgrade the converter inside.

@foobar - I discovered that the 27 Globetrotter has the breaker box under the fridge while the 27 International has the breaker box under the pantry cabinet next to the stove. I figured this out when switching out the converter asking someone with a 27GT.

Cutting Board Sink Insert

Made a solid maple cutting board insert for my 2021 Globetrotter 27FB, cut finger grooves on ends to lift out, both sides useable, might cut gravy trough in one side. It’s about
1-1/4” thick.

I replaced the stock electric trailer jack (4,000 lbs) on the my 2019 International with a Husky 5,000 lb brute and two remote controls. The old stock jack would unt and grunt not to mention stress and strain to raise the nose of the trailer high enough to remove the WD bars. Not with this new jack!

We have a game where we guess at how many Airstreams we'll see on a trip. The winning guess without going under (reverse Price Is Right rules) wins a fabulous prize which we never agree on. Only "working" Airstreams count not derelict ones in the weeds or in a sales lot. (Does anyone else do this?). The record so far on a 10-day trip out West last summer was 72.

Often times we'd forget the count, so we got a clicker (https://www.amazon.com/KTRIO-Counter.../dp/B075QFK6DG). Comment: don't get an electronic one, they reset too easily.

I live in BC Canada and I rarely see an Airstream on the highway and when I do, I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself, do I flash my lights at them, do I honk and wave, is there a protocol for this? I might add that I'm not actually travelling when this happens but the town I live in is kind of a go through to the US border and anybody travelling west.

Junk Gypsy, when were towing we flash lights and sometimes get a return flash. When we're not towing we get excited also. In town we'll do a arm out the window with a thumbs up. We'll admit to getting excited over a milk truck before it got close enough to realize it way to big.

That’s funny. I do feel better knowing how to handle the situation when it presents itself. I have no doubt I’ll get caught up in the moment and discover that I too have given the thumbs up to an approaching milk truck

I'm guessing there's a whole thread on the proper protocol. We usually try to flash or wave. However, sometimes we don't get a response. My SO thinks it's more out West where there's lots of Airstreams and people are jaded. Also, she fears rejection more than I do, so when she's driving, she is sometimes reluctant and waits for the other party to go first.
