BLUM 1/2 overlay soft close hinges

i aslo use BLUM 5mm system screws that are 10mm deep
they have a much better grip in particle board/ply than the supplies 2 mm screws ( which are designed for use in solid wood)

Nice update! Any idea have much extra weight this adds over the original countertop? What sort of stove top is that?

The blind looks nicer can you list the part numbers for the updated items please?

Countertop is butcher block from Home Depot. Weighed about 60 pounds prior to cutting out sink and stovetop spaces. Probably added about 25 pounds over original stove and sink. Countertop is 1.5” thick. The Furrion 3 burner is easy to find. The Sink is a Better Bath 421572, 25 x 15 x 7, from BZB Marine and RV. Faucet is also from HD, a McKenna Single-handle pull down.

Window shades were installed by first owner. They are standard cellular shades.

Entire project was under $600.

4 LI battery bank

Never regretted having too much stored energy but sweated by the lack of it. Have no idea of possible negative effects and/or they are ideal setup. I understand they don’t have a net effect of weight by removing the two AGMs in the box behind the propanes. By accident I ran the AC without shore power from the battery bank… and it ran, only one AC. Not sure how long would have rhe juice to keep up though. We do boondock, and with the help of 3 solar panels and a 7KW Honda genset, should be fine, gasoline dependent.

Timbrens on the rear axle suspension of the TV, in case a pothole at the r wrong speed bottoms up the axle.

Direct TV Winegard traveler antenna installed on the roof, sacrificing one of the Fantastic fans (no room left with 3 solar panels). Important to remember to fold it down before taking off though. Part of the mental checklist.

PP3 hitch. Probably the best upgrade ever. No sway, yet complex to hitch -for us-. Normally draw a chalk line with a painters’ string, from stinger on truck to receive on RV, place pebbles on that line (invisible with the read review camera otherwise) and back up the truck following that line to come true to the receiver, which I measure distance from the ground to match the stinger’s. That works the best so far for us.

I installed a Micro-Air Easy Touch thermostat today. The installation took about 15 minutes. It connects to my phone via bluetooth or WiFi, and if the Airstream has a WiFi connection then I can monitor and change the temperature remotely. It also supposedly helps control the excessive cycling on and off that the air conditioner sometimes does.

Since my trailer is in storage, it has been smelling a little musty and moist. I got a dehumidifier and set it up today. It started out reporting 68% humidity in the trailer at 3:00 this afternoon, and by 6:30 it had collected ⅝" of water in its tank and dropped the humidity to 55%. It looks like I'll have to drain the tank every day, but I can do that easily enough.

One another annoyance... with all the rain we've had in the last two days, I found today that my rooftop air conditioner is leaking into the middle of my kitchen. I caught it before it got the carpet wet, so I put a garbage can under it to catch the drips. It isn't a fast drip, only about one drip every 10-15 seconds or so, but left unattended it could make for a soggy, moldy mess. I'm glad I caught it when I did. That AC unit is dead, so I'll replace it this spring.

The Micro Air thermostat looks a bit like a Christmas Tree all lit up. Not crazy about all the colors. Dennis, does the screen dim down or turn off (sleeps) after a bit?

Yes, the screen dims. And it has brightness control. And it’s smaller than the OE Dometic thermostat, not huge like it looks in the pic.

I've had the easystart for quite a while since they came out with it. Overall, it's a very nice convenience to have bluetooth/wifi connectivity with it, but my only complaint is the screen is too small. The icons are packed so close, I often triger the wrong function. Wish they had used a little larger screen and separated the icons more. It's been nice since we have cold weather to be able to turn furnace on from in the house to keep things from freezing.

Most installs I've seen are on the front marker lights. How's that working for you on the aft ones? Also, are these wired? I don't see antennae, If so, how did you run wiring harness?

I wonder if the Easy Start can replace the basic little white Dometic furnace controller? I would like to change out the little unit but not too sure if the Easy Start will wire up.
