Man, Hittenstiehl, you've definitely got some bling for your trailer, and your faces!

I installed a set of Mopeka propane tank level sensors over the weekend. It’s a nice product! It was easy to install and it will take some of the guesswork out of propane management.

I’m not familiar with this product but interested now. I checked the website and now want you to share more about your install. Sure would address another stress point.

As you’ve seen on the website, the sensors attach to the bottom of your propane tanks using magnets. Installation is as simple as removing your tanks, turning them over, and placing the sensors. The tricky part is getting the sensor as close as possible to the center of the tank bottom. The app will tell you if you’re off center. There are four little aluminum spacers that attach to the bottom of the tank. I tapped them into place with a rubber mallet. Thats’s it!

The app is easy to use, and you can set it to alert you when your tanks reach a certain level.

Mopeka also makes rings for the bottom of the propane tanks. Excellent product.

And, their customer support is exemplary. I started using these sensors over two years ago. The methodology is actually using a sonar signal to determine propane levels.

That’s a nice pistol. I considered one for my concealed carry gun. I own a full-sized Kimber 1911 (TLE II Stainless) and I love it. Unfortunately the Micro 9 was too small for my hands, so I went with the Sig Sauer P365XL for my concealed carry gun, and for the gun I keep in the Airstream when camping.

Auxiliary work lights

I'm not sure if this truly qualifies for this thread because it is more for me and the truck. I put auxiliary work lights in the bumper for hitching up to the AS and utility trailers after dark. It should also be helpful for working behind the truck when setting up a campsite or backing up.
I put an manual switch on the dashboard. I have been wanting to do this project for quite awhile and finally pushed myself to do it. The toughest part was taking the cut-off wheel to the rear bumper to make the holes.

I've found the rings work much better than the aluminum spacers which tend to fall off at the most inopportune time.

On our annual migration to FL this year we took a detour to see Ronnie Dennis (GMFL) and have some work done on our GT.

We added two BB batteries to the one we already had. Installed a Victron 3000 inverter, Victron BMV battery monitor, a Victron Multi Control, a PI internal surge protector, smart phase selector, a Renogy 40a DC to DC charger (and the cable in the TV) and a Sure Call Cell Boster.

It all went smooth until Ronnie had difficulty removing the fridge to install the cable for the Sure Call. At some point I had put a screw, that was apparently too long, inside the closet to hang something and the tip punctured the skin of the fridge. I was just testing his patience! No harm done but another lesson learned.

I also had him install a set Centramic Wheel Balancers.

Ronnie does great work and we would highly recommend him for anyone looking to upgrade their electrical system.

Chrispyboy- I like your auxiliary lights. Can you please provide the source?

Thanks, Dan

Totally agree. Knowing it’s done right is peace of mind for me.

My wife, who should know better, thought it was palm tree or maybe a Tommy Bahama watch.

I made this for my 25FB to keep my dishes organized. I have 1,700 miles on it and everything stays put! I also place a folded piece of paper towel and wedge it between the two sliding doors to keep them from sliding open while traveling!

Our 2012 25 footer is getting a check-up and also a new TV antenna, domestic fans. Not sure what else as it will depend on the outcome of their 15 point checklist.
