I just ordered 2 white MaxxFan Deluxe vent/fan combos and a Jack antenna (also in white) for Il Progetto.

Stopped by Foley Airstream yesterday to take a look a Pharmgeeks new Bunkhouse. I could not leave without buying something. Picked up an official authentic Airstream door mat. Very classy and practical.

I got for my airstream today set up new insurance policy with progressive which blew allstate (who does all my other insurance) out of the water....for nearly 100 dollars per year cheaper premium, I got better coverage which included "total loss replacement" for 1st 4 years of ownership and after that "actual cash value" in the even of total loss...allstate only offer actual cash value from the get go...this was excellent because for me it was built in "gap insurance" of sorts....feeling comforted right now

Grill - Volcano Grill on sale at Camping World

My sister has X-ray vision when it comes to finding sales racks and bargains. We were in the Camping World in Akron getting a new 30 amp cord for my Eddie and she says "Look, a volcano grill for $52".... I nearly plotzed... that's about $150 off!

I doubt if it's anywhere near that low in the catalog - and they only had one or two left over - so kiddies if you're near a CW, run do not walk and get that great XMas present for the Airstream.

And by the way, I got a great emergency breakaway cable. It fit's onto the breakaway box with a standard loop that you use for keys, it's RED and it's coiled with the ability to stretch six feet. My chains were initially a bit too long - I shortened them one more link - and the PO had done the BIG no-no - threaded the breakaway cable through one of the chains! It was badly frazzled from road rash, so I knew that I'd need a long cable due to the Hensley, so this was a perfect easy to install solution.

I was in there Friday and didn't see the mats. Maybe I already have one that came with the trailer. Mine is a grey carpet mat with Airstream on it in black.
I did get a step support.
I am sure you saw all the pictures I posted of 'Geeks's trailer.

The were under the counter. Sounds like the same mat.

Amazing how whenever I see posts from this thread, I'm compelled to buy something for our Airstream. Being a vintage trailer, there is always something it needs: tire covers, a gas tank cover, a new fridge vent and oven vent. It didn't really need the small chandelier from Etsy, but it's cool anyway.

A Progressive Dynamics PD 4655 55 Amp Converter from bestconverter.com.

That factory installed Parallax converter almost boiled out my batteries in just a couple of weeks between my last trip and when I put the AS away for the winter. I pulled the batteries yesterday and before hooking them to the BatteryMinder I checked the level and was astonished to see how much water had been lost since I last checked them just 2 weeks ago. Right then and there I decided to replace that sub-standard one stage converter. Airstream should be ashamed of installing that piece of junk.

Used to be trailer replacement years 1-5. Years 6-10 original cost of the trailer. I'm beginning year 10 in a week.

Unhappy Year of Manufacture Trailer license plate is NOT available

When did they change that reg? Never could do that in the past. I just checked the DMV site and trailers are not listed as a plate that you can personalize. They do allow RV's but trailers don't fit into this classification. You may want to check before you make your reservation only to find out that they won't give you the plate at registration when you attempt to assign it to your trailer.

Jack
It's been about a month since the local DOR told me I could get year of manufacture plates for my trailer but I'd have to get them from Jefferson City. So I sent all the paperwork off to Jefferson City. In yesterday's mail I got a form 4055 from the DOR informing me that "at this time a year of manufacture trailer license plate is not available".

Dag knab it!

A gift from a good friend of ours for our Airstream. They are cards to hand out to fellow campers we meet along the way with whom we want to keep in touch. Love 'em!
