We installed a Spot Trace satellite theft-alert tracker on our Airstream. Many thanks to those on this forum who pointed out the benefits of the device on earlier threads - we're very happy with it. Joe

I'm going to post that I've installed a tracker... and let would-be thieves discover if I'm telling the truth....

My daughter got her backpack returned by the NYC police from the guy who was wearing it after he stole it. They found him within 15 minutes in Central Park. He still had the laptop inside it...but had tossed her I-phone (Android actually) in an apparent belief it would track him. He had no idea what the SPOT was... apparently thought it was a wifi hot-spot.

I disagree that they are doing it for advertising - they are doing it to meet CAFE standards. Fully agree with the personal daily driver reason....

Received Mopeka LPG Tank Check today. Easy install after replacing one of the batteries. As far as I can tell it is reading accurately. Set up both IPhone and IPad to read levels.
Also received the Ultimate Scout Kelly Kettle Kit. Getting this primarily for tent camping not trailer use. Tested it out with twigs picked up around the yard. Amazing how fast it boils water. It came with a hobo grill, pot and cover (fry pan) and couple of cups and plates. It all fits compactly in a well made bag. I ordered it direct from Ireland. Took advantage of a sale and free shipping. Came out about 25% cheaper than buying from KellyKettle USA.

We store it beneath the lounge in a drawstring bag.
Great idea! I will be getting one soon. But I will find it someplace else as I quit buying anything from Target when they chased the Salvation Army Bell Ringers away. I see WalMart has them and sure to find several other places as well.

Brilliant! My state does not allow customized tags on travel trailers.

(1) Micro-Air EasyStart 364, installed by my dealer. Seems to work very well.
(2) New Furrion Stainless Steel 30-amp power inlets. They look sweet.
(3) New switch for bathroom fan because the old one was sticking.
(4) New propane parts for Dometic fridge. The whole assembly was out of alignment and therefore heating up places that should *not* be heated up. The repair was expensive, but not finding/fixing this could have been far more costly. Thank goodness we had the dealer do a full check of Rocinante while she was there for the EasyStart installation.
