New (2015 used) Wilderness Systems Tempest 170 - bought it last week - wife is out paddling on a camp trip with friends as we speak and it will see the Gulf of Mexico at gulf shores in June.

We have a Bissell AutoMate vacuum, works great and fits in any compartment in our airstream.

Congrats! Your son looks excited! Three kayaks- how will you carry them all? We have two that we put on a rack on top of our truck- bikes ride in front of the truck. With the Airstream, we are 53' long, sometimes a challenge in tight spaces but we wouldn't dare leave ANY of it home! We travel with two Wilderness Systems Pungo 120s and absolutely LOVE those kayaks. They are perfect size, weight, track well and seat is comfortable. Enjoy your new toys!

Well, I have only had my unit two months but the results have not been stellar. I installed the sensors with completely full tanks and immediately departed on a three-week trip.

The app wouldn't work for about three days but then started receiving signal. The receiving unit on the wall of our trailer (about 7 feet from the actual tanks) has never given an indication other than completely full even though one tank is nearly empty.

Once the app started working, it seems to be very accurate, however.

Epoxy a small galvanized steel disc to the bottom of your aluminum bottle and they work just fine. Trick is to use thin steel and press the disc in place as the epoxy dries to ensure a very tight bond.

Thx, I'll continue to follow. Right now I'm getting ready to install my blk easy start on Tuesday.

I hear awesome reviews of the pungo!!

I have a rack on back of my truck - can put a couple kayaks up there and my son's small kayak I have not figured yet - I can pop it inside the AS I suspect or back of the truck - if we decide to bring it. I have brought 16 foot touring kayak and 15 foot canoe on trips no prob - oh and bikes - lol

Put new shoes on her tow vehicle. Bought a set of BFG All Terrain KOs in LT275/60R20 to replace the stock passenger tires (Goodyear Wrangler SR-As). To this day, i just don't understand why all the manufactures seem to do this with 1/2 ton trucks. They really should have LT tires stock, not passenger tires.Click image for larger version

I'm told it's the OEMs trying to squeeze the last bit of MPG for their advertising. P-rated tires (lighter weight and more flexible sidewalls) have less rolling resistance and better gas mileage. Secondary is the fact most buyers use the PU truck for personal daily-travel instead of hauling, so the OEMs want a better ride.
