Installed a new dinette pedestal with four-way articulating slides. $640 shipped from the U.K. The slides are smooth and there is very little play in the table when extended or down. We are very happy with the added functionality and the look!

The pedestal is available with or without the four-way slide mechanism. Without it ships with a larger stainless steel plate top that just screws into the bottom of the table. With the slide ships with a smaller stainless steel plate top that bolts to the slide with four #10 bolts. Then the slide structure screws to the bottom of the table with four #8, 1/2 inch screws. The base of the pedestal attaches to the floor with six #14, 3/4 inch screws.

To maintain the same height of the dinette, I did have to place a 1 inch spacer between the plate and the slider mechanism. Right now, I have a piece of plywood in there temporarily with four holes that the #10 bolts go all the way through, but this will soon be replaced with 1 inch aluminum blocks. Maintaining the height was very important to us because we store four chairs and a kids picnic table under the table that just barely fit with the old support system, but it’s not absolutely necessary to use a spacer if you aren’t particular about the extended height. I will say that a one inch spacer appears to be the maximum to ensure the table rests properly when retracted all the way to make the dinette into a bed.

Installation was very straightforward. One other thing the table does is rotate 360 degrees, so you have four way articulation plus rotation and can therefore position the table anyway you want to. I felt the slide feature was important because of the slight curve the wall behind the dinette has, so as to have no space between the table and wall, either extended or retracted.

I took our 3 stage leg apart and shortened it by 2 inches and added a table top the raises the overall height by 2 inches.

Now the leg allows the table to lower into the space between the benches and sits flush so we don't have the hump in the bed created by the table top.

You install looks great!

Updated the walk sconces in the bedroom on our 2000 Excella 30'

I didn't like any of the lights available so I modified these, I found ones that are sturdy and the glass us supported well, then I drilled a hole and added a switch, I mounted the switches on the front edge on both lights for easy access, and then ordered some 12 V led "house style" bulbs,

1) TST flow-through TPMS for Globetrotter, spares for it and truck, as well as a utility trailer.

2) Viair 450 air compressor

3) Replaced bedroom TV with Vizio 24” Series D Smart TV

Now I’ve got to start saving for the next purchase!

Are you going to start a new thread "Can I tow my 25'FC with my MB?"

Or "I bought a TV now what can I pull with it?"

Or my favorite "My MB is rated for 8,000 lbs so I have ordering a 30' GT"

I will put the worms back in the can, that I kicked over, now!
