PM me for details.
For the record I own the P.I. hitch lock and did upgrade the puck and I'd do it again.
Hi Too tall, I went through LPL videos which describe a weakness in the lock where it can be drilled in minutes. My plan is to weld a cap over the front of the assembly that adds additional thickness to the sides around the lock and the steel cap covering the lock. I will still be able to access the key but if someone was to drill into it, they would just be breaking bits. Recently, Proven upgraded the keys to the 7 sided round type which also prevents the lock from being pulled.

I ordered some of their wheel lock pucks as well and I am going to make 2 wheels locks that wrap around the tire and wheel and use the same sort of double wall concept to protect the lock from drilling.

I will need locking lug nuts as well to make these effective.

I am also going to remove my safety chains and add operable links so I can detach them whenever parked.

Then there is the GPS tracker which I haven't quite decided on yet but the Garmin stuff looks good.

We realize that anything can be stolen if the thieves want it bad enough. Our goal is to slow them down so they look elsewhere for easier pickins'

Easy Touch

Went to Micro-Air yesterday and had an Easy Start 364 installed. Been wanting one for a while. Actually would have had it installed at Doswell last summer but I asked too late in the week.
In addition they installed the new EasyTouch thermostat. Really cool unit you can control with an app on your phone via Bluetooth or Wifi.
Only issue is the screw holes exposed with the smaller unit. They are working on an interface plate that will cover them. Photo attached. Meantime any ideas???

New Crea Stainless Kitch Faucet

Original kitchen stock Moen was leaking more and more out the tip.

Usually go Grohe or like but wanted a narrow single shaft with top controls to save view and space. Found this Crea stainless on Amazon and thought 55.00 too cheap to be good but on arrival was actually impressed on the product and precision feel of controls,180degree swing out of the way and pull out adjustable sprayer.

Very sleek and tidy keeps minimalistic CCD design characteristics.

Very nice! How about using a Command hook or something to cover the holes? Maybe a TV remote holder?

I would go to HD or Lowes and get a couple of those plastic buttons in light or dark to go with your interior. It would be two tan buttons on the wall.Click image for larger version

Hang your TV remote or fantastic fan controller next to the thermostat. Either should cover the screw holes.

Very nice install!

Didn’t realize you can go there to get it installed.

How about a Moose head to cover the holes?

Finished installing the water purifier yesterday!

Here's a link to the write up. Wasn't too difficult and it works -- at least I know there's power to it. Now I have to get some water into our tanks to test the connections.

That will put the Berkey square in the emergency prep space for the house.

Nice neat install. It’s a little bit pricey though.

Thanks!

It is pricey. But saves a ton of counter space from the Berkey. Plus I like clean water.

Oh and the Wynn’s did the math for us, although they’re sailing in the South Pacific, and not the Southwest.

I saw that on your Instagram! Looks amazing. Which one did you use on the aqua marine site?

A multi-talker

I ordered this beautiful little footstool from Etsy.

Made with felled walnut.

https://www.etsy.com/shop/Eastabrook...g_id=705254542

Has several intended uses.
First and foremost, for sitting at the dinette and putting my feet on it, to get a more comfortable posture for working at my laptop.

I had been considering a pouf-but thought that this would be more durable, and could also be more versatile.

Second, when we are loading and unloading it's a pain to deploy the steps, but the distance is just a bit too high to readily step in and out. Now I can simply use this little guy.

Also will be handy for use in situations when a little height is handy.

I will also use it outside by the campfire to prop up my feet.

So happy to have this little wonder.

It’s custom. Gray over black is the color.

Aqua Marine Deck. It custom cut. I have had it installed on our 23D 5 years now and it still looks brand new.

I have given them the measurements for the narrow body and the wide body trailers. So they already have them in their system. You should be about to just call and order. Cost is not bad at all.
