I hope to install it on the Airstream over the next couple of days. I'll post photos when I do the install. I'm still on the fence as to where I'll install it. In order to do the 'invisible trailer' parlor trick, it has to be installed at the same height as the truck bed camera. If all I care about seeing behind me, I can install it where the factory camera is currently installed.

Great I’m looking forward to your report. We have a 2019 and our rear Airstream camera stalls or freezes.

We got our Airstream A friend- not an airstream but thought about painting it silver gray and painting rivets on it [emoji5]. Had a casita years ago and regretted selling it when we bought our 31 Classic Airstream. A great camper for a short getaway!Click image for larger version

Just arrived:

2 Legomatic dining chairs produced in Sept 1964. (Had purchased them some time ago but we're stored out of state)

Very good condition will just recover the seats and lube the mechanisms.

Froli Adjustable Head Rest for Twin Bed

My DF occasionally needs to sleep with her head elevated. Last year she tried a 7" foam wedge under the mattress which worked but wasn't adjustable.

Her best friend has a T@B 400 that uses the Froli Sleep System under the mattress. Pretty cool stuff; acts like a suspension support.

While researching it I noticed they make an adjustable head rest. We ordered the 28" wide version and installed it today.

It has 4 stops of adjustment, the highest at 9". I cut out the HyperVent so the Froli sits recessed by 3/4". When it's folded flat you can't feel it under the mattress. She tried it out on the 3rd setting which gave her plenty of lift.

Will test it out this year at Loveland!

What Did You Get For Your Trailer Today?

Added a 2 gallon accumulator tank that I picked up at Lowe’s and installed in the dead space behind the microwave. It’s purpose was to help with water pump cycling when boondocking, but it actually has already also made a big difference in pressure on hookups at the RV park we’re at since we normally lose a lot during flow conditions through our Camco filter and hose. We can now almost entirely refill our Brita pitcher before the pressure drops off.
I added a tee off of the cold supply to the kitchen sink to tie it in, making the install pretty easy.

Got ourselves a Mr Heater Big Buddy.

Set on low this will provide us a whole night of warmth while boondocking. Had a small Coleman single bottle heater previously but it did not last an entire evening.Click image for larger version

Pulled the trigger yesterday on disc brakes for my '59 single axle Tradewind.

I was never happy with the drum brakes and they were due for replacement this spring.

A new touch activated faucet, 3M Filtrete under sink water filter and separate filtered water dispenser, and a soap dispenser (had to fill the three holes they drilled). The touch faucet should make it easier to conserve water when boondocking since you can adjust it to a low flow then just tap it on and off instead of trying to dial in a low flow each time you use it and wasting a few seconds of water flow in the process. The faucet also has a pull down sprayer, which is far superior to the separate style that comes factory.

Is that a direct replacement fit or were there modifications involved?

AKNate, I do like the look and idea of your installations. However with a touch activated faucet, is there the potential of it coming on when not around? I don’t leave my pump on but I do keep the city water connection active. I’d be concerned about flooding my tank or worst.

It works off of measuring the capacitance of the faucet, so I definitely close the handle when towing. I think with the sensor wire swinging around and who know what else going on while towing it could definitely turn itself on, but the touch feature works in series with the standard faucet function. If you just turn the faucet off like a normal faucet, there’s no worries. Once parked, you adjust it to what you want and can touch on, touch off. Based on the one I have had at home for several years, there’s no chance of it turning on by itself when you’re just parked (unless you have a cat).

2020 GM Camera Harness - PWMBUT

Ordered a 2020 GMC Sierra 3500, I am told that the Pro Grade Trailer Package System will not interface with camera on back of Airstream. I called Voyager and was told it will work with a filter and it was available for $20 on Amazon. I ordered the GM Camera Harness #PWMBUT on Amazon. Has anyone tried this on the new 2020 GMC with Pro Grade Trailer option ? Looking for advise.

Sharp looking truck Joe! That 6.4 with the new ZF 8-spd trans is a great combo. The 4.10 rear axle will make you forget the trailer is back there.

I don’t know about this Foam Canon, the car wash I use has new automatic equipment but..it’s fine...but superior results...it doesn’t get all even without heavy road dirt and road film
