I ordered a tube off Amazon as they have several sizes. I put mine next to and in-line with the one that came with the AS. I used the screws that came with tube for the front. Just drill holes of appropriate size and screw into what I believe to be thin steel sheet metal. This is exactly how the AS tube is installed. The back end of the AS tube screws into what looks like a galvanized plate either because the sheet metal there is thin or it is aluminum. I bought approx. 3”x1/8” aluminum flat stock, cut it to about a foot long and riveted that to the AS. I then used smaller stainless screws to attach the tube to the aluminum stock.

We just had this / these installed on our AS wheel / tire combos.
How neat is that to be able to see the tire pressure AND temperature as well as other trailer parameters
*** right on the factory dash display in our new Silverado !
Oh, yes, the Silver-a-do was purchased just for Silver Eddie Aluminitis !

Zyburbrian,

Very cute that photo might fit well in this month's photo contest. The theme this month is potential Christmas card photos.

Congratulations on the new truck. We just bought a Sierra and will have the TPMS installed on our Airstream as well. Great safety feature and built into the trucks system.

Would also like to do something similar. This is a drop-in replacement? I’ve never replaced one and was curious how difficult it is.

Suggest getting the factory wiring schematic as they made mods to the television sets to make the sound work to both TVs in our 2014 Classic,

Strangely, we had a lightening strike in the park last year that took out our park wide WiFi system. My cable signal shared the pedestal with the park, so all of my stuff attached to the cable in the Classic was toasted. We replaced both TVs, cable modem and the HDMI switch to get operational. The trick is that those original TV sizes are no longer available and we had to go up a size and that worked with no room to spare.

I’ll be installing it soon and plan on posting pics and details. Not drop in. Clarion m502 is single din, new unit is double din (taller). Ill need to trim out the cabinet face and install a new mounting bracket.

This week we bought 2x new batteries for our 2007 25FB. NAPA sells East Penn batteries rebranded as P/N GC2. 6v, 220ahr, OE P/N: GC15. We're excited to have more than 200 amp hours for boondocking. I get to modify the battery box to accommodate bigger batteries, we're thankful this mod is already well documented here. Happy New Year!

Battery box conversion to accommodate taller batteries:
