2017 Sport 22 FB - Medicine Cabinet Added

The small make-up mirror that is stock is OK, but we wanted to add more bathroom storage. The IKEA Gunnern is a locking medicine cabinet that installs easily. You will need to reuse the screws that were used to hang the previous mirror as the Gunnern does not come with screws.

I re-used an existing screw hole from the old mirror location and the bottom right mounting hole in the cabinet to locate where to place the cabinet. I then drilled small pilot holes and used the two remaining screws in the top two slots. I then removed the cabinet and applied silicone caulking to the wall to help hold the cabinet in place while travelling (probably not necessary, but I didn't want to just rely on the screws.)

The locking feature is used for keeping the door of the cabinet firmly closed while travelling, however the cabinet would be useful to lock away valuables or meds while camped too.

In the install photo you will see a hand towel ring that I purchased at Lowes. I used a short stainless steel screw and re-used one of the screw holes from the stock mirror for the top screw and drilled a pilot hole and another stainless steel screw in the bottom hole.

Repairs-
I dropped it off at Dependable RV in Madison, MS 2 weeks, 3 days ago because the a/c doesn't work.
Yesterday they fixed the refrigerator light.

Changed out the horrid, unworkable Moen filter galley faucet. Just finished the install on the new Moen mid rise faucet. Had to make up an adapter consisting of a stop and a 1/2" brass nipple. Mating metal pipe thread to plastic fittings is a little tricky. It takes a special pipe dope that is compatible with both. Ask me how I know.

That is a neat install, and looks like it belongs there. Good job.

My old Keurig in the trailer died. Picked up a new smaller lighter Silver K15 from Kohls. On sale for 30% off plus my monthly 30% off coupon.

Amen to the new pump! Shurflo Revolution variable power quiet pump to arrivie before next week trip. Heard super quiet plus motor self adjusts less pressure, noise and wattage for low flow demands. Keeps the zen in the den.

Also, Nearly pulled trigger on a new Yamaha 2400 ISH Gas Inverter (2400 peak / 1800 running watts 1350.00) decided to try the new design Champion 3100peak / 2800 running watts "duel fuel" gas/propane electric start 999.00 plus tax delivered from Costco. 2yr warranty.
Figured could return to store down street if not impressed.

VERY, VERY impressed. 1st start test came right up. Solid build quality and low DBs. Fits under 19.5 in touneau bed lid @100lbs. Can self lift in and out ( for now). Quieter on propane and less fumes. Keeps gas cans home as already toting the full 2 X 30 lb LP tanks infront without much use. Think it's a keeper !

Shurflo Revolution quiet pump replace

Here's a pic. (About same cost as the add on accumulator). They say you won't need it or the quiet kit hoses but got hoses coming too while we're at it.

Do you know the difference between this one (E65) and the A65 model?

Never mind, I found it. It's OEM (A65) versus aftermarket (E65). It looks like the A65 may only have a 1 year warranty, as compared to 2 years for the E65.
