I got an "Aussie" stainless steel grill....

...at the "on sale" price of $89.99 at (oddly) Big 5 Sporting Goods, plus a 25-foot hose that connects to my front tank at one end and the grill at the other end.

The "Aussie" grill and the "Smoke Hollow" grill are identical except for the nameplate.

And it fits under my dinette seat!!

Sounds tempting. It might be nice to run a generator from the low-pressure port that comes out the front of Rocinante. Sadly, I can't make heads or tails of their website.

Those of you who hang strings of party lights on your trailer, how do you attach them to the trailer?

They work great. Used mine for the first time this past week while dry camping on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Started on second pull at 5000 ft. You can hear it but it is not offensive (I ask my neighbors about 100 ft away, they said they could not even hear it). No gasoline smell while running or in storage.

Give them a call. Very nice folks to do direct business with. They were very patient with my questions and several phone calls.

Since one of the two 2,000 watt Honda generators rides in the back of the Mercedes when we tow the 23D, we decided to use the Genconnx Direct propane only conversion on both of them so we no longer need to carry gasoline (both tow vehicles are diesel). The first conversion took me about an hour and a half and the second about 45 minutes.

With their special propane hose, the single unit (we use the unit with the 30 amp power outlet of the pair ) can run off the trailer front propane port. I made a six foot 30 amp cord with twist-lok connectors at each end.

I have their double hose from a single regulator for a 30 pound propane tank to run both units at the same time or just one and attach the other on the trailer supply.

http://www.genconnexdirect.net/honda...ane%20kits.htm

They started on the first pull after the conversion.

Our hybrid Magnum MSH-3012 inverter/charger can augment the required starting in rush power using the lithium battery to start the air conditioner on the 23D. A single 2,000 watt generator has enough power to run the air conditioner after it starts.

What did you get for your Trailer today?

Lanyard badge clips. The plastic piece snaps around the light wire and then the metal/plastic piece clips to the awning. 20 or so do the trick for lights along the front and sides of the large awning.
