2 New keys for the locks, had to crawl through the curb side storage door, lifting the bed, so I could take the lock in to the locksmith. I lost the keys somewhere between locking the door and getting out of the truck at home. And yes, I drove the 35 miles back to the pace I camped and checked all around, then had to drive home, crawl in, and drive 25 miles to a locksmith that could make a key from scratch, $20. Moral? Procrastinating on getting the extra keys made is very costly.

Also got us collapsible measuring cups and a nice plastic measuring cup.

I'm not sure these magnetic jobs will work out when in travel - sneaking suspicion they are not string enough - we shall see

I love those shower shampoo holders. I installed mine but have not filled it yet. Ayone know if they leak while sitting for long periods?

Today was hitch / coupler locks, Linx Leveler caps, a socket for the stabilizer jacks, collapsible safety cones and triangles, and a Truck System Technologies TPMS. All we need is camping weather!

Wow- that is gorgeous! I can't wait to see the end result- what is the name of the pattern? Did you have to special order or did you buy it off the shelf?

Secret Santa's were very good to us as they actually shopped from our Airstream only list. Thank you to someone at VTS for helping our 90 yr old parent order the long long trailer. We got a state map, the history of the land yacht

720, but with these old fart eyes, it hardly matters... We got the geek squad replacement plan and figure if it doesn't shake rattle and roll well a few years down the line, they likely won't be replacing anything with 720p --May only have 3D by then:-)

My Christmas haul was pretty good! Got a Cobb grill for the Bambi II, the cutest little wine cork ever, and a Bose mini speaker that goes anywhere with blue tooth. I think a nice grilled chicken with some wine & some good oldies playing are in my future!

Thanks, Flying Gypsies! Actually, we first saw the pattern in Silverflames' renovation. It's Allure vinyl planks from Home Depot in African Wood Dark. We ordered off their website after seeing a sample in the store. Free shipping and and 20% discount made it even more attractive!! Here's another picture - we're converting from the original short queen bed to XL twins. CarolClick image for larger version
