Yesterday we got a ‘share’ at North Texas Airstream Community for our trailer. 😊

We’re pretty excited because the lot is level (easier to build or park), on a wider street (easy back in) and at the top of a rise (breeze).

It won’t be our base yet but it is the 1st step the ‘plan’ to leave Maryland, it’s crowded hustle-bustle and high taxes.

And it right in the totality path of the next US Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024.

Rasta that's very exciting. Never been but looks intriguing and gets great reviews by many here.

I got a busted flying wardrobe!?![emoji15]

So we were packed up headed for a weekend race event at Laguna Seca. After arriving and setting up at our site, we discovered the closet door wouldn’t latch close. Yes the rod had a full load of shirts and just endured about 140 miles of typical California highway “bliss”.

We found the outside wall loosened from the header. Who drills screws into the end grain of plywood and one of the screws was installed into a dowel hole!!! Really? And also found the header had two vertical screws that attach to the ceiling. One screw made it. The other screw blew out the side of the header and barely went into the ceiling. Dowel holes didn’t even have dowels installed too.

Tore the entire cabinet apart. Made the repairs myself with using oak pieces. New header and sill (?), new dowels, clear coat and perfectly square. All better now.[emoji4]

Four brand spanking new Zip Dee folding chairs in Jockey Red.
These really are made better than they need to be.

I did the same last month and love them! I can run one A/C on one Eu2000i (propane) or both on two.

NOT a damn thing.But I try.
It sure would like a new refrigerator, for the one that just died, the new awning put on and new flooring to replace the carpet.
I have the $$$ but Can not find any one in the Atwater CA area to do the work.
Poor old 1989 Squarestream is siting under the pepper tree thinking I don't love her anymore.

It’s the little things.

Today, Hubs installed window opener knobs. No more plastic ones and these look waaaayyy cool.

Love my trailer. Have had 5050 for 9 years now and am always tweaking the interior.

Yes, another member on the 23d thread did this (mikentosh). This seaflo tank is much smaller for tight spaces.

Rastapoodle, where did you find the window knobs? I’ve seen them before and I love them, just had other purchases that were more pressing now I’m ready to get them.
