Got our awnings from Marti's Awnings. Super great to work with. Thanks for the craftsmanship!

Great to hear. I was using McKesh mirrors and they also worked well. The new ones are just more aerodynamic and I am hoping that they may shave a tad off the wind noise. Jim

Thanks for the post Jim - inspired me to buy a pair. I have already sent back one set that didn't look good and I have another set sitting here that looks even worse. The Aero's look great and I notice that Andy at CanAm uses them on his Chrysler 300 TV.

Poppy,
I bought mine on line from Costco because they provide the mirrors with slightly longer arms for North American consumers rather than the shorter ones normally provided in the European market. There is also an excellent video on Milenco's web site.

Purchased a 16" SenDel S62-66655TG galvanized wheel for the spare tire (rated 3,500 pounds) and will keep 5th SenDel T03-66655T aluminum wheel in storage, just in case. Local Discount tire charged $50 for the wheel, $10 for freight plus tax.

While there, I also ordered the Dill TPMS model 1506-453 that also includes the upgrade model 1900 crystal monitor for $350 plus tax.

The Michelin LT 225/75R16E LTX M/S2 tires (P/N 05681) will be ordered the first week in January so they will be as fresh as possible. I hope that trailer arrives at the local dealer before the end of January.

I also had the opportunity to purchase two new batteries for the Dodge as they were completely dead. I guess sitting on the dealer's lot in Indianapolis from June 2012 to January 2013 did not help the original batteries to last. This time I,hooked the truck to a trickle charger.

Height disadvantaged/miniature wife unit found some miniature utensils (at BBB) for Eddie ...
Her tools that keep my stomach very, very happy!
She had to have them in the matching EB "green".
I love her - what else can I say ...

I bought a set of lightly used 15" wheels (including the kinda-matching spare) with used Marathons that will be fine to hold up the 28 foot trailer until the work is done.

Due to the 1.3 million Michelin tire recall, I ordered the five Michelin LT225/75R16/E LTX M/S2 tires yesterday while there is still stock availability.

Dickinson Marine Fireplace

Ordered one of these for the trailer yesterday; it shipped today. 7000 BTU on high - about like a 2000W heater. We removed our Suburban furnace since it was one of those CO spewing Model 22s; we're also quite happy w/ the extra room w/o the furnace and ducting. The fireplace will go on the side of the kitchen sink cabinet where the furnace was originally, next to our double bed in the front of the trailer.

Only tricky part of the install will likely be summoning the will to drill a 3" hole in the roof of the trailer to install the stainless double wall intake/exhaust tubing.

That's pretty cool Bart. Doorgunner installed one of those in his Airstream several years ago and it seemed to work well. He may be able to give you some advice if you run into any problems with the install.

Yup... but last I saw, doorgunner had his fireplace in a temporary install, with the vent going through a window. I'm setting up ours on a permanent basis.

I wonder if a 3" hole saw will do the trick on the curved surface....

My '07 has proven to be a fine tow vehicle with the 3.55 limited-slip diff for both the 24 and 28-foot Argosy trailers, you'll have a great time with the 3.73 and a 22-footer!

Here's our floor underway. It was easy to cut and install. We're starting with the bedroom but ordered enough to do the whole trailer.
