50 AMP at home and NEW TIRES, WHEELS AND TPMS

We've been busy! We have 3 grown children who all come back to visit with their families and it gets a bit tight in our house so we installed a 50AMP plug under our RV cover and we get to go camping when our house is full of people. We love our Airstream and look forward to every opportunity to spend time in it, even here on our ranch

This morning we had new Michelin LT225/75R16E tires and Sendel T03 aluminum wheels installed at our local tire store. We definately have peace of mind now that we replaced the Goodyear Marathons. Tomorrow we will install and test our TPMS!

City Water Elbow

We took possession of our '16 Flying Cloud last month and are preparing it for many adventures. Although this little item is small compared to other items that people have bought for their AS, it bothered me that the city water inlet has the hose coming straight out of the side of the trailer. After some research, I notice a right angle brass elbow that points the hose directly down and parallel to the side of the AS. Went to our local Camping World to pick one up and discovered that they had the elbow, but there was also a version that came with a hose bib spigot on the end. This made a lot of sense to me because being able to access water outside the AS without having to open the outside shower, made a lot of sense. It will be nice for filling dog's water dish as well as washing off feet after coming off the beach.

TST TPMS. First drive yesterday. Works great. No need for booster with my 30'. Good signal all the time.

I live where the light pollution is terrible but I camp where the sky is dark! So I bought a telescope to take with me and view the night sky.

This one: http://www.telescopes.com/collection...ctor-telescope.

After reading the Smith & Wesson Governor thread with interest over the past few days, then doing some independent internet research, this weekend I began shopping for a Glock 19 for my Airstream travels, and, on the other end of the price spectrum, also today bought a little pepper gas sprayer at Harbor Freight on sale for $4.99.

I also bought a torque wrench for checking my wheel lug nuts.

Congratulations. You have chosen one of the most popular, most reliable, highly capable defense pistols on the planet.

Now for the really important important part... get well-educated on defensive handgun use and practice with it until it feels like you were born with that thing in your hand.

Buying a handgun and thinking that makes you ready for defense is like buying a scalpel and thinking that makes you ready to perform surgery. There is much important work to be done now! And it's fun, too.

DHart - Yes, absolutely. Fortunately, I discovered this fantastic resource very nearby, https://weaponcrafttraining.com/, that focuses on gun training and coincidentally has the best pricing that I've found locally. There is also an annual gun show in a neighboring town next weekend, so I can check out a broader range of gun pricing there.
(I will stop writing on this topic on this thread after this post, but felt that I should reply here.)
