These came a while ago and it’s taken me a month or so to drum up the courage to cut holes in our trailer for the install. I know. As Steve at TheMoreWeExolore says, ‘in order to modify your trailer you have to modify your trailer!’
I called dad over for cheerleading and moral support. I drilled the holes necessary to install his and hers Blue Sea 12V/USB panels. Complete with 30A circuit breaker/switch, a 12V socket, and two low power USB outlets. For high speed charging I also got his and hers high power Anker socket USB chargers. (I am so over cheap, crappy USB socket chargers!)
I remain gobsmacked at the lack of 12V outlets on this Eddie Bauer. I mean really. They put fender flares and 16” tires standard and imply a boondocking mentality with sunbrella cushion fabrics etc etc and then just one socket. Anyway. That’s sorted now.
Just need to pick up some split loom to finish tidying up.

Ordered the stainless steel covers for the furnace and water heater. Both were galvanized and getting oxidized and ugly.

Every time I look at the Airstream store I pause at those bling items.

Also if I disconnected the AC power cord to the trailer then the DC fuse would not blow.

HOUSTON, WE HAVE IGNITION![emoji12]Hi J-K Georgia-you are the man...or the woman?!! Thank you. We replaced the circuit board and voila! Everything is working again.

This after I spent hours isolating wires, harnesses and checking connections trying to determine the culprit. Oddly, different scenarios occurred and couldn't replicate them. Electric switch would ignite the propane or blow the fuse. The propane switch would ignite or blow a fuse, or not ignite at all and not blow a fuse. Still with me? I did discover the main ground wire to the grounding strip was loose. Tightened it up and tried water heater system. The electric switch did work, but propane did not ignite while on 12 volt power and using original circuit board. So I installed a new board.

It boggles my mind that at least three major appliances are on the same circuit! Our AS has the refrigerator, both water heater switches, Garnet gauge, and range top exhaust and light are on the SAME circuit. Sounds ridiculous that if one of those goes out, the rest of your appliances won't work. No bueno especially on an outing. So I gave the water heater a dedicated circuit.

Originally, I wanted to have my old board tested. It would've cost me $65 and that cost wouldn't be used towards a new one if mine was bad. So I just ordered a new one. Another thing I discovered is our circuit board model number has changed part number only when ordering it. Websites I searched didn't list my model #91346. When I couldn't found my part number, I googled and researched. Found out the "order" part number is #91365. Its name is the Atwood Replacement Circuit Board. Funny though when I got the part, the board had a factory label on it with my original part number. Go figure.

Much thanks to everyone's advice on this thread and my original post about my 15 amp blowing!

Happy travels~John

Glad to help. So many times reading about how others on the forum fixed their issues has led me to find a solution.

I got new laminate for my brand new trailer. Fun project and no more rusty color.

A Denver Mattress RV Supreme Euro Top, in Short Queen size with Radius Corners. A little expensive, but far better than the crummy OEM Airstream mattress that came with the trailer. We found it cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else we looked, so that's where we got ours. Two day Prime delivery at no extra cost on a 55 pound item. Pretty sweet!

We found a trash transfer station not far from our campground, so we put the old mattress and foam topper into the truck, put the new mattress in place and let it start expanding, and then disposed of the old mattress/pad at the transfer station without filling up our campground's dumpster.

We had extended the original mattress' life by adding a memory foam topper that a friend gave us, but the sleeping experience was still pretty awful. No more!

Arms....love the look. Where did you find the piece that matched existing wall coverings? Airstream? Or after market somewhere?

So, is it more flexible, lighter or what?

I got mine from e-trailer.
It's not the cheapest, but I liked the 90 deg. down angle on the female end and the finger holes on the male end. I hope it doesn't stop my surge protector cover from closing!
I contacted e-trailer via a chat, and the guy went in the warehouse and coiled one as a test. He said he could make a 1' loop.
The cable that came with my AS must have steel bridge support cable inside. When the temp fell to 26 deg. I almost had to dump it in the truck. I've coiled a lot of cable in my day, and the AS 50 amp is the stiffest.

Since you asked:
https://www.etrailer.com/RV_Wiring/M...-5025ED90.html

High marks for their website, easy to navigate, nice people. For instance, I could track my order without signing in, I guess it knew my IP address so it just displayed my tracking automatically!
Decent price, $164.
Tracking said it's been delivered today (fast, free shipping over $99.) so I'll update this as soon as I retrieve the package.

BTW, e-trailer is not always the least expensive, nor is Amazon. For instance, I shopped for a Husky 5000 tongue jack. By looking around I found it for $220, and Amazon was $270.
