Some used pool poles to use as flagpoles-
Will Sandlapper's flagpole holders hold a pool pole?

To me his holders look extremely over built. If the pole will fit in the holes I suspect it will hold just about any poles.

I guess my question is this:
Is the diameter of the holes in Sandlapper's flagpole holders the same as the diameter of a pool pole?
Maybe it doesn't matter much if the pole is slightly smaller.

We use one of Sandpaper's flagpole holders and it is just an excellent product, going on six years now and we have it in use about 5 months a year, every day.

Using a painter's pole we began to notice slight wear of the holes in the holder, so went to the hardware store and found a white plastic sleeve made for shower curtain rods. We cut it into sections to fit and it prevents any wear of the pole or holder, and the sleeve doesn't wear either.

Smile New to us 1967 Caravel

What haven't we got in the last 6 weeks since bringing it home. We are doing full gut to replace subfloor. Adding a gray tank, new. New black tank, wiring, marine plywood, square blue and white tile flooring. Ok too much to list and almost done installing subfloor so lots more to go when we start putting it back together. Loving this project.

CFW, I don't want to hijack this thread, but I have a similar age, but only 2-axle rig, that passes all the tests to evaluate the suspension health. Could you post on the Running Gear forum what caused you to replace your axles? Thanks--

That is so on our list, our son does great things with his, he has 2 or 3. He uses a 1" cut from a log, laid flat, pile hot charcoal briquettes so they don't touch the bottom of pot and it will cook very well. Have a long metal hook for handle and good pot holders to use with hot pot. Enjoy

Just replaced the stock Interstate batteries with a pair of Fullriver DC224-6, 6Volt AGM's. Looking forward to more nights of dry camping without running out of battery. With care we should be able to stay three nights on winter ski trips, where hookups are not available.
