Water Filter

Thanks to a YouTube from Live the Odyssey on the need for better water filtration, I followed his model and built this. May be overkill but I plan to do lots of boondocking and at the very least I know lots of places out west have lots of sand in their water, along with other things I'm sure.

Picked up two hybridlight flashlights on clearance.
They recharge with a solar panel and can even be used as a phone charger.
So impressed I might get the other two that the store had on clearance.

The dacron wrapped foam for my Caravel cushions arrived yesterday from the Foamfactory.com
Crazy how they ship that stuff. Reminded me of an airline self inflating life vest when I broke the seal.

Here's another opportunity for $260, but you get 4 sensors if needed for double axles I installed these and have very pleased.

So beautiful. Is it sturdy when cutting and cleaning?

Making one of these myself right now. (Hard maple, Purple Heart, Walnut, and some other scraps for color..) Had planned a cutting board surface on one side and a slightly scooped out "tray" type surface on the back.

I like the cutaway design you pointed to. Allows use of the sink and probably makes the whole thing a little easier to wash without spilling water all over the counter and floor.

Yes very sturdy and heavier then the plastic stock cutting board. The cutout also allows this to lie on a flat edge when stored in the closet.

These are handmade and I was also able to send pictures of my interior so he could recommend the best wood combination.

I was able to order matching coasters. I'll post a picture of those.

Gotta love that Rustoleum. Using without gloves, dry, can't get the stuff off your hands.
Seems to stick for years to metal ! Great stuff.

Also used on a custom "down tube" to accept electric dolly attachment.

I too ordered a custom sink cover. Dave fortunately had a cover already to go and we will be able to us it on our next trip in 10 days. It will make cooking so much easier.

Where does the dolly attach? Not by the trailer hitch?
