Locking silent hitch pin for the bike rack on the front hitch. No more U bolt and laying on the ground to attach.

A new tongue jack.

Hi, at the last camp ground, while hitching up, my tongue jack stripped a gear. Of course no-one around here has a replacement gear so I had to buy a new tongue jack from Camping World. Oh well, my original tongue jack worked for 11 years.

How tight on the valve stems and sensors?
Instructions say 35-40 inch lbs.
I don't have a baby torque wrench.
I don't want to over-tighten.

How about putting a 6lb weight on the end of a 6 inch socket wrench (or at 6 inches from the socket on a longer wrench)? Or if that is too awkward, use a spring type fish scale, with a hook on the end, and pull it to the 6lb mark hooked to the wrench 6 inches from the socket?

But a spring scale is even cheaper! And has multiple uses!

I say buy and use the correct tool for the job. Sometimes that may not be possible and you have to improvise.
