Those are so cool, do you know what the story is with them, were they an Airstream accessory, for the campsite or somehow inside the trailer? Amazing set, I've seen one or two chairs on ebay but I imagine a whole set is rare

I don't believe they were built by - or exclusively for - Airstream. But you do see them often in Airstreams... which I'd guess is because the majority of trailers that have survived from that era happen to be our favorite brand.

Also, they were sold through the Wally Byam Stores -- a catalog selling other manufacturers' products the way Camping World does today. There was also a network of physical locations, primarily (only?) inside existing RV dealers around the country, which are listed by state at the back of my 64 page catalog.

The catalog is pretty neat, offering just about everything available for people wanting portability in 1966. From jack stands, transmission coolers and "Byam Hooks"... to silverware, retractable clotheslines and Wally's various books.

And, of course, Leg-o-Matic chairs. Not sure they offered the tables though.

THAT IS SO COOL! Another thing to collect, old Airstream ephemera. Sigh. Thanks for the pics, I would have thought those were older than '66

Bought a beautiful aluminum and glass sculpture that hangs off the awning. The photo doesn't do it justice. You have to see it in motion - the ball stays exactly where it is but the wind blows the sculpture left and right making the corkscrew rotate but the ball looks still! I'm going to see f I can post a video but for now, here's a pic

Apparently video isn't an option. We got it at a cranberry festival in the town next door to our campsite. Artist is Clang Creations: www.clangcreations.com

Got a Cobb Grill on Friday. Tested it out yesterday, in the backyard, and am in love. I cooked an entire meal, vegetables included, within 30 minutes.

That little grill is genius.

LED tail light upgrade...much better visibility. From Airstream online store. Backup $39, Tail/Stop/Turn $25. Also have replacement "Airstream" decals for above front and rear windows from Out of Doors Mart, $14.95 each. Will put those on after finished polishing.

I'm WAY behind on this thread...

First, I bought my 24' Argosy a friend (see signature) which I named il Progetto, but probably should have named "Can of Worms"
Then I bought:
One parts trailer ('74 Argosy 28, gutted)
One Marinco 30A inlet, stainless steel
One Marinco 30A shore power cord, right-angle, 30'
One VTS modified deadbolt
A bunch of white-headed rivets
LED marker lights
LED scare light
A bunch of LED replacements for 1156 bulbs
PM4B-45 converter-charger
Fuse block
Waterproof LED fixture for shower

.... and I'm just getting started.

I got a pneumatic lifter for my bathroom vanity cabinet mirror/door. I have a new 27FB. This door is heavy, and I find that I have to sit it on top of my head while fishing for stuff inside. After a minute or two I get a headache. This fixed that problem.
