When you check out the motorsnorkel, also check out Genconnex for their LP-only conversion (or if you don't have generators, they sell converted Honda generators too). We did ours with their kits. They run off the LP port and I couldn't be happier. But it's LP-only. You lose the gasoline capability in the conversion process which worked for me. Good luck!

Sendel T-02 16" wheels and Michelin LT tires...finally! Goodyear Marathons were 4 and a half years old with no problems and still had decent tread life....but no worries now for the summer. Purchased from Performance Tires and Costco

After a long winded story, Thursday we were able to get to Ponderosa Shadows in Show Low, AZ and get the Mercedes and 23D towed out of the Cedar Creek fire zone and back to Gallup where we are trouble shooting a fuel issue in the big truck.
Note that I was told by GenConneX the front propane port may not run both Honda generators when it is either cold or at altitude. They said that a 30 pound bottle was necessary to run two units at once as a 20 pound bottle could not vaporize the gas liquid propane fast enough for two units when cold.

Well, not the ritz, but it feels a lot better! Easy to put in and remove, and the height is adjustable. I can access the window latches and blinds OK.

After having the same experience I made up my own longer cord with a 15 amp blade fuse. Works perfectly with no heating or blown fuses. The problem with pumps is the high start up surge.

Some prep and reapplication of factory colors. Courtesy of Krylon.
New LUX replacement/upgrade Thermostat for ceiling heater pump. Far more accurate temp on-off settings.
Added battery operated temp sensor station. 4 zone wireless remote master station for cabin, independent freezer, fridge, under goucho electronics compartment. Remote Temp units are portable in case needed for separate ice cooler, truck bed or TV cab. Keeps high and low memory and alarm settings for each.

I just got this 22" High Definition AC/DC TV to replace the one that came with my 20 footer. I am not sure why Airstream would install an AC only TV.
Here is the Amazon link
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
We very rarely watch TV, but with Murphys law in full effect, every time was have wanted to watch something we did not have AC power. Just a few days ago I found this model for $135 on Amazon and installed it today and works perfectly. We could have gone with a larger model as I am sure that at least the 24 inch and maybe the 32 inch would fit. But for the occasional times we use it the 22" is fine.
As a side bonus, this unit only weighs in at 4.5 lbs vs. the 11 lbs of the original Samsung. 6.5 lbs is not much but I bet the strain on the mounting arm is greatly diminished. The only issue I had mounting this is that I needed to use shorter screws to mount the TV to the arm as the ones that were holding the old TV were too long. Other than that, very happy.

So we removed the 32" cushion under the television and replaced it with a cheap plastic 3 drawer cabinet from K-Mart, and we also had room in that space for boxes of other stuff and an extra fresh water container as you can see in the photograph.
I wanted something more professional and functional. I contacted Airstream to get the manufacture and style number of the laminate used in our FC. I then constructed a 32" wide two drawer, 1 door storage removable unit as you can see in the photographs, it looks like it belongs. The drawers are FULL EXTENSION trays that hold wire baskets, and inside the door side, there is also a full extension tray for a wire basket that holds three gallons of water(we only like to use bottled water for some cooking and coffee, it's just us??), plus an extra shelf for another basket we keep things like potatoes/carrots/onions, etc in. (I am waiting for additional matching drawer pulls to arrive from the Factory......)
The cabinet leaves a space behind it for the portable vacuum, Zip-Dee chairs, and misc storage. ** We load up the wire baskets in the house, and leaving for a trip is much simpler as we just cary the baskets to the AS and drop them in the storage unit.***
The other thing I did was purchase an extra set of wall brackets for the dinette table, which I mounted next to the new cabinet. This allows us to position the dinette table on the road-side wall, and we can put our recliner chair where the table normal is to make it more comfortable for watching TV, etc.
I really enjoy customizing our AS as I have posted in the past.

Did I miss the manufacturer and style of the laminate?

I had been debating replacing it with recliners, but too much work at this time, so instead, we brainstormed on how to make it more comfortable.
We ended up buying some fleece fabric, several pieces of 6' wide batting, and a piece of large diameter rigid foam pipe insulation.
The fleece was folded over, sewn at 11 1/2" wide. This would allow a bit of stretch and end up containing the batting in a 9" diameter. The batting was rolled up over the pipe insulation, and the "sock was pulled over the batting turning inside out as we went (there was a trick involved). The excess fleece on each end was folded over and will be hand sewn. It looks quite nice!
I am making a wooden frame using 2 1x2s for vertical pieces, and a 5" x 6' long cedar fence board that will be attached to the 1x2s, and this will provide back support and keep everything away from the curtain and blinds. The 1x2s will slip down between the sections of the back of the gaucho, and everything will just stay nicely in place, and be easy to remove to access the window latches and 12V cutoff switch. The pillow will need to be attached to the back support somehow.
When we put the gaucho back into place, we may shim up the front a little, or shim up the entire thing, and believe it will be much better than it was!
I'll post pictures in a day or two...

I am very interested in seeing your pictures. I am planning something similar. My biggest complaint about our sofa is the lack of head and neck support.

Finally got a "fireplace" in my 22FB Sport!
It took a little doing but I managed to install a Fireplace in my 22FB Sport. Now I can listen to the "crackle and popping sounds" of a real fire and not worry about burning the place to the ground! And.....not only that but I can set a automatic timer on it and while the "loons" in the background lure me to sleep....it will turn itself off! No fuss no muss.
Here's the good news....you can do it too! http://www.naturalelements.us
